A device includes lamps and LED devices emitting ultraviolet light mounted to movable arms. In an optional embodiment, a housing for the lamps includes shutters that close to redirect light from the lamps into an air passage and open to permit the movable arms to redirect the UV light into the environment. Optionally, the shutters, arms, and lamps are controlled by a controller.

LED ARRAYS WITH SELF-STABILIZING TORCH FUNCTIONS
20210180773 · 2021-06-17 · ·

A device for controlling illumination of a scene using an LED array that includes a plurality of individually addressable LEDs, built into a hand-held device, is disclosed. The device includes a controller arranged to configure a first sub-set of the LEDs to provide illumination for a target spot in the scene and to monitor movement of the hand-held device. If the controller detects movement of the hand-held device while the first sub-set of the LEDs is providing illumination, then the controller may configure a second sub-set of the LEDs to continue providing illumination of the target spot. In this manner, even though there may have been movement that could change the specific area illuminated by the LED array, the movement is compensated for, at least partially, by selecting one or more other LEDs to illuminate the same target spot in a manner that is substantially unnoticeable to the user.

A multi-color spotlight has a housing having a lens on a first side, a rotational LED mechanism, a knob for actuating the rotational LED mechanism, and a power supply source within the housing operably coupled to the rotational LED mechanism, wherein the rotational LED mechanism comprises a rotatable rod having a plurality of substrates coupled around the circumference thereof, with each substrate being in a distinct geometric plane, each substrate having an LED chip in the center, and wherein only the LED chip that is positioned in the center beneath the lens is configured to receive power from the power supply source.

Light source assembly with multiple, disparate light sources

A light source assembly for use by a user includes a housing assembly and a moving beam light source. The moving beam light source is positioned substantially within the housing assembly. The moving beam light source generates a source output beam that is directed away from the housing assembly at an angle relative to a rotation axis as a moving output beam while being rotated about the rotation axis. The moving beam light source is a non-visible light source that generates the source output beam having a center wavelength that is outside a visible light spectrum.

FLAT PANEL LIGHT MODULE WITH DYNAMIC BEAM

An illumination system includes a light assembly. The light assembly may include a housing having a first zone and a second zone isolated from the first zone. The housing may be configured to fit generally flush with a ceiling. A movable light source may be positioned within the first zone and is configured to emit a first light. A stationary light source may be positioned within the second zone and is configured to emit a second light.

Lighting apparatus

Hinge devices couple light source units to a base such that the light source units are rotatable around first axes. Each light source unit is rotatable between a first position and a second position around a corresponding first axis of the first axes. Rotation mechanisms couple the light source units to the hinge devices such that the light source units are rotatable around second axes transverse to the first axes. The hinge devices are configured such that when each light source unit rotates from the first position to the second position, rotation directions of the light source units are different. The rotation mechanisms define rotation ranges of the light source units around the second axes to achieve a reference state where the light source units are collected together and light-outgoing surfaces of the light source units face outward when each light source unit is in the first position.
