Rugged flexible LED lighting panel
Flexible lighting panel includes a substrate with a conductor pattern and apertures, solid-state light emitters electrically connected to the conductor pattern, a light-transmissive first protective layer covering at least a portion of a first surface of the substrate, and a second protective layer covering at least a portion of a second surface of the substrate. The first and second protective layers are joined to one another through the apertures and the periphery of the substrate to assist in maintaining the light-transmissive first protective layer and the second protective layer against the first and second surfaces of the substrate, respectively. One or both of the first and second protective layers encapsulate the solid-state light emitters. The lighting panel is flexible to allow opposite edges of the lighting panel to be folded over on one another and/or the lighting panel to be rolled into a tubular configuration.
Lighting system with curving or twisting modular housing
A luminaire includes a housing, light-emitting diodes and a light guide. A lateral direction from a top side to a bottom side of the housing is a preferred direction. A front side of the housing forms an aperture. The light guide substantially spans the aperture. In operation, the LEDs emit light toward the preferred direction, which light enters a light coupling surface of the light guide, where it propagates and is substantially retained by total internal reflection. The light guide includes light extraction features to redirect a portion of the light out of total internal reflection, so that some of the light exits the housing through the aperture. The light extraction features redirect some of the light so that more of the light exits the aperture between a normal direction of the light guide and the preferred direction, than between the normal direction and the non-preferred direction.
Downlight apparatus
A downlight apparatus includes a rotation housing, a spherical housing, a light source and an elastic structure. The rotation housing has a spherical inner surface and a bottom opening. The spherical housing has a spherical outer surface corresponding to the spherical inner surface. The elastic structure presses the spherical housing to engage the rotation housing applying an elastic force to keep the spherical housing to stay at an engaged position with respect to the rotation housing. When an external force is applied to the spherical housing to deform the elastic structure, the spherical housing is escaped from the engaged position and rotatable with respect to the rotation housing until another engaged position is determined by releasing the external force.
Modular LED lamp system
A modular LED lamp system allows for stacking multiple LED carriers to provide the desired amount of light. Each LED carrier preferably includes its own transformer to convert line voltage to power useable by the LEDs on the carrier. Line voltage is conducted through each module to a subsequent module and is provided to the transformer.

A recessed light fixture has an enclosure with an aperture, a light source operable to emit light through the aperture, and a glass element operable to transmit light emitted from the light source into the room. The glass element is disposed substantially planar with a bottom surface of the ceiling and has a beveled outer edge having an opaque coating operable to substantially prevent light from exiting through the bevel. A cover assembly is adapted to close an opening of a plaster frame, and has a cover plate and an elastomeric seal which forms a contiguous seal against a bottom of an interior of a liner of the plaster frame. A position of the light engine being adjustable relative to an aperture into a downlight position, wall wash position and service position.
DETACHABLE LANTERN LIGHTING DEVICE
A lantern lighting device is disclosed that can include a lantern and a base that can be configured to retain the lantern, where the base can include a light emitting element, which can be independent to a light emitting element of the lantern. The lantern lighting device can include a base comprising a base power supply and a base light emitting element, and a lantern detachably attached to the base. The lantern can comprise a lantern lighting element and a lantern power supply. The base can be configured to illuminate the base light emitting element when the lantern is detached from the base, and de-illuminate the base light emitting element when the lantern is detachably attached to the base.

Provided is a lighting device, comprising: a light source module comprising: at least one light source disposed on a printed circuit board; and a resin layer disposed on the printed circuit board so that the light source is embedded; a light reflection member formed on at least any one of one side surface and another side surface of the resin layer; and a diffusion plate having an upper surface formed on the light source module, and a side wall which is integrally formed with the upper surface and formed to extend in a lower side direction and which is adhered onto the light reflection member, wherein a first separated space is formed between the light source module and the upper surface of the diffusion plate, whereby flexibility of the product itself can be secured, and durability and reliability of the product can be also improved.
