A series of interconnected (directly or indirectly), coupled lighting panels is provided, the coupled lighting panels linked to one another such that various shapes and designs can be created using various arrangements of the coupled lighting panels, the lighting panels of some embodiments adapted to avoid dark spots proximate to lighting circuitry disposed therein. The lighting panels can be luminaires, and may be provided in various geometric shapes, having various dimensionalities (e.g., a flat 2 dimensional shape, or a 3 dimensional shape). Various control systems, connectors, housings, frames, and lighting systems are also described.

Configurable Ceiling Grid Lighting Assembly with T-Bar Mounting

A configurable lighting assembly for use in suspended ceiling grid systems which provides novel T-Bar mounting options. The lighting assembly comprises two configurable length linear lighting modules in a novel parallel arrangement. End plates support, and enclose longitudinal ends of the elongate body of each linear lighting modules and are used to set a configured width and functional gap spacing of the linear lighting modules. The end plates further connect and support the lighting assembly when fixed or mounted or removably to T-Bars positioned at either or both perpendicular and parallel alignment angles.

Lighting assemblies with various embodiments of end plates and linear lighting modules are presented, each with novel mounting characteristics. In some cases the lighting assembly mounts perpendicularly on its end and spans the gap between two T-Bars. In other cases the lighting assembly mounts longitudinally on a single T-Bar. Finally, embodiments are shown where the lighting assembly mounts both perpendicularly and longitudinally to different T-Bars in a ceiling grid layout.

The lighting assembly further comprises a novel arrangement of LED light sources, transmissive optical elements, light shaping lenses, reflectors and other functional components supported and housed within the elongate body of each linear lighting module. The transmissive optical elements may be backlit or edgelit from one or two sides and aligned horizontally or tilted relative to the ceiling grid plane. The lighting assembly can provide a range of useful symmetric, asymmetric and tilted non-lambertian lighting distributions.

STRIP LAMP AND STRIP LAMP SYSTEM

A strip lamp includes a housing, a mask, a light source module and two end covers. The two end covers are arranged at both ends of the housing and form an accommodating chamber with the housing. The accommodating chamber extends along the length direction of the housing, and the light source module is accommodated in the accommodating chamber; the mask includes a light exiting part, a connection part formed by bending towards each other and extending from both sides of the light exiting part, and a pressing part formed at the end of the joint part. The first depression is formed between the joint part and the pressing part, two sides of the housing are extends towards each other to form a buckle part; the light source module includes a circuit board and a light emitting body arranged on the outer surface of the circuit board.

A lamp and a lamp string are disclosed. According to the lamp base and the lampshade of the disclosure, the lampshade is connected with the lamp base, an inner wall of the lamp base is provided with a first flange and a second flange, an outer wall of the lampshade is formed with a first abutting surface and a second abutting surface, the first flange abuts against the first abutting surface, and the second flange abuts against the second abutting surface. The first abutting surface is a conical surface, a diameter of the lampshade at a position corresponding to the first abutting surface gradually decreases along a direction towards the lamp base, and an included angle between the first abutting surface and the second abutting surface is an obtuse angle.

Each lens can contact the body on one of its long sides and contact the ballast room cover on its other long side.

A device and method for housing a terminator circuit and brightly distributing light from one surface and dimly distributing light from another surface with a single light source. Additionally, light may be distributed from a top surface, a bottom surface and through an edge surface. In operation, the light fixture of figure may provide tri-directional lighting by providing light from the LEDs directed from one side of the light fixture, while providing light from a second side of the light fixture in the opposite direction (but offset), and directing a third portion of light from one of the LED arrays through a light pipe to an edge of the fixture. This allows a lighting designer a wide range of aesthetics and lighting affects because light of different densities may be directed where needed.

Lighting system with customized intensity and profile

A lighting and energy conservation system for low temperature applications includes LEDs as a light source. The LEDs are provided in a modular LED light fixture. The fixture includes a frame supporting a reflector having a plurality of elongated channels. Mounting strips are removably installed in each of the elongated channels, and LEDs are mounted on each of the mounting strips. A separate power control device is associated with each of the mounting strips, so that a total light output intensity and profile of the fixture can be individually customized by selectively adjusting the power control device for each of the mounting strips.
