Various aspects and embodiments of under-hood luminaires are described. In one example, an under-hood luminaire includes a luminaire frame assembly. The luminaire frame assembly includes support braces and a number of cross members secured to the support braces in a spaced-apart configuration. The cross members include mounting surfaces, and light strips are secured to the mounting surfaces. The luminaire also includes a contraction hook assembly that can be used to secure the under-hood luminaire to the hood of an automobile. The luminaire can be relied upon to uniformly illuminate the engine compartment of the automobile, helping to eliminate lost productivity and frustration for mechanics.

A softbox for being mounted to spotlight door flaps includes plural flat sides, at least two of which are mutually non-adjacent, wherein pockets for accommodating the spotlight door flaps are arranged on the at least two mutually non-adjacent flat sides of the softbox, wherein the pockets are each provided with an insertion opening, and wherein the insertion openings are configured to be reversibly variable with regard to their widths. The softbox includes at least two side walls, and further includes a light-baffle arranged between the at least two side walls of the softbox, wherein the light-baffle includes at least two translucent planes inclined to one another, and wherein the plural translucent planes together form a shape having a base facing towards the spotlight.

In some aspects of the disclosure, an attachable lighting device has a lighting assembly which includes a light housing, an attaching base, and one or more optical sources. The light housing is attached to the top of the attaching base and contains the one or more optical sources. The attachable lighting device has a receiving base which is attachable to an attachment surface of a boat. The attaching base is attachable to the receiving base.

A retrofit kit for a light fixture includes a light engine and a mounting bracket. In some aspects, a method of installing the retrofit kit in a light fixture includes installing a mounting bracket in a housing of the light fixture, and placing a light engine in a temporary hanging position. In the temporary hanging position, a hook of a first engine flange of the light engine rests on the mounting bracket and a second engine flange of the light engine opposite from the first engine flange is spaced apart from the mounting bracket.

A lighting device includes: a bearing member, provided with a circuit switching component, wherein the circuit switching component is connected to an external power supply, and is provided with at least one first plug portion; and at least one light source component, comprising: a housing, provided with a first accommodation portion and a second accommodation portion; one or more light source units, each light source unit has one or more pairs of power supply pins; a drive circuit component, comprising a second plug portion, the drive circuit component is used for switching the external power supply into supply power to the light source unit; and a conductive member, provided with through holes for inserting the power supply pins, wherein the conductive member is in conductive contact with each electrical connection pin.

Light fixtures often have bright spots caused by the light sources that can be unpleasant or uncomfortable to look at. A light device is provided that diffuses the light, which includes an internal cavity defined in the body of a flexible shroud extending transversely from an opening defined in a first end frame to an opening defined in a second end frame of the shroud. The first and the second end frames are removably connectable to each other to form a circular configuration of the flexible shroud. The internal cavity also extends in the circular configuration. A light board is attached to one of the end frames and at least partially covers the opening of the given end frame. In the circular configuration, the light board is sandwiched between the first and the second end frames.

An illumination device includes a sleeve, a securing member, and a light source. The sleeve defines a cavity and includes an open upper end communicating with the cavity and a lower end. The open upper end and the cavity are dimensioned to receive a fluid container. The securing member is supported on the sleeve and is adapted to secure the sleeve tightly about fluid containers having different diameters. The light source includes a light bulb and a power source and is supported on the sleeve in a position to direct light into the cavity.

A luminaire assembly includes a frame and a back plate. In some examples, the frame includes a lip, and the back plate includes a tab. The back plate is positionable within a housing area of the frame such that the tab is engaged with the lip and the back plate is retained within the frame. In other examples, a luminaire assembly includes a wireless module with an antenna positioned adjacent to a module opening of the back plate. The antenna provides wireless transmissions above the top side of the back plate and below the bottom side of the back plate. A luminaire support clip for a luminaire assembly includes a base and a tab. The tab and the base define a receiving area, and the luminaire support clip receives a portion of an edge of a back plate of the luminaire assembly within the receiving area.

A modular lighting strip mounting system provides for modular linear and curved lighting solutions. The system can generally comprise a bracket that is designed/configured to hold an LED lighting product and allows a user to mount the bracket with LED product to entertainment stages, platforms, risers, etc. relatively quickly and easily. Several different mounting embodiments are provided allowing lighting strips to be quickly secured to stages as well as to truss structures.

Apparatus, method and system of lighting device including a lighting apparatus and a shade cover removably mounted to the lighting apparatus. The system comprises a light-emitting diode flat-panel ceiling light having a base frame, at least one light-emitting diode, and a light guide panel; and a shade cover. The base frame includes a quick-connect adapter through which the shade cover is removably mounted to the base frame without changing the light-emitting diode flat-panel ceiling light.
