FLEXIBLE SIGNALING DEVICE
20220397245 · 2022-12-15 ·

A signaling device is disclosed comprising an electronic circuit positioned within a housing and comprising at least one LED, a light diffuser manufactured from a non-opaque material and a USB Port. Side edges of the housing each comprise a barb engaging slot therein. A cap end covering the USB port and comprising a pair of flexible fingers each comprising a barb-like feature for engaging respective ones of the barb engaging slots comprises an actuating part fabricated from a compressible rubberlike material which is secured towards a second end of each of the flexible fingers. Compressing the actuating part motivates the outer ends of the flexible fingers to move apart, thereby releasing the barb-like features from their respective barb engaging slot and allowing the cap to be removed from the housing.

Fixing member for optical element and LED lamp with fixing member thereof

The present disclosure provides a fixing member for an optical element and an LED lamp with the fixing member thereof. The LED lamp includes a base, an LED plate and the optical element. The LED plate includes a plurality of LED beads, the base including a receiving room that includes a mounting surface formed on the bottom thereof, the LED plate arranged on the mounting surface, and the optical element arranged on a light-emitting side of the LED plate; the LED lamp further includes a pressing member with one end being hinged to the base and the other end being buckled with the base, the pressing member presses against the optical element to keep the optical element on the base, which has advantages that the optical element can be assembled, disassembled and maintained without using tools.

A luminaire comprising a housing, a light-emitting optic attached to the housing, and a cavity between the housing and the light-emitting optic. A circular acoustic panel is attached to a perimeter of the housing and being fully circumferential around the light-emitting optic.

MINIATURE LIGHTING MODULE AND LIGHTING FIXTURES USING SAME

A lighting module includes a heat sink having a sidewall and a partition that define a first cavity and a second cavity. A driver enclosure is disposed in the first cavity to electrically insulate a driver from the heat sink. The driver enclosure substantially fills and covers the first cavity. A light source that emits light is disposed in the second cavity together with an optical element that redirects the light. A retaining ring/optic cover covers and encloses the second cavity. The lighting module is shaped and/or dimensioned to fit into a space having a width less than 2.4 inches, a height less than 2.25 inches, and/or a volume as small as 18 cubic inches. The heat sink may also include a receptacle to couple a trim to thermally and electrically couple the trim to the heat sink to dissipate heat and to ground the trim.

LED related lighting methods and apparatus are described. Various features relate to water tight light fixtures. Some of the fixtures are spotlights while other fixture are intended for in ground use. The light fixtures in at least some embodiments include power control features. In spotlight embodiments beam angle and power or light output can be controlled without opening the light assembly or compromising the water tight seals which also protect against dirt. In ground embodiments support tilt angle setting which allow a user to set the light fixture to one or more tilt angles. Beam angle can also be changed in some embodiments as well as power control. Beam angle, power control and tilt angle adjustments are supported in some embodiments but need not be supported in all embodiments with some embodiments using one or more of the described features but not all features.

FLANGELESS TRIM
20230100581 · 2023-03-30 ·

A reflector and of a holding-plate slidingly attach to each other to form a flangeless trim assembly. The reflector may be removably attached to a spackle-frame. The spackle-frame may be installed within ceiling drywall around a hole for a downlight. The holding-plate may be attached to a lighting module. In a default resting configuration, a top of the reflector butts up against a bottom of the holding-plate because springs push these two parts towards each other. When an opposing force is applied that is greater than the spring's force, then a variable gap is formed between the reflector and the holding-plate, but while the reflector and the holding-plate are still attached to each other. This gap may be used by human finger(s) to both disengage the reflector from the spackle-frame and to pull down the reflector, the holding-plate, and the lighting module from the spackle-frame—all without tools.
