Various embodiments are directed to an adjustable light fixture and method of installing the same. Various embodiments of the adjustable light fixture comprise a light head comprising a light source, a lens, and a frame; a socket base configured to be secured relative to a socket of a light assembly; and an extender located between the light head and the socket base and configured to move between an extended configuration and a compressed configuration. In various embodiments, the adjustable light fixture is installed by engaging the socket base with a corresponding socket of a light assembly, and adjusting the extender toward the compressed configuration.

Modular lamps and methods for their use. The modular lamps include a body and a light source carried by the body. The body is configured to operate a flashlight as the light source and to allow the flashlight to be removed from the base for use separately from the base and reinstalled to the base for use as the light source. The body may be configured to interchangeably operate either the flashlight or a lightbulb as the light source. The modular lamps may include a lamp base configured to be placed on a support surface to maintain the body in an upright position. The modular lamps may include a shade to shade light emitted as by the light source.

In various embodiments, a light emitting diode (LED) lamp is provided. The LED lamp may include a base; a first housing having a first end and a second end, the first end secured to the base; a second housing having at least in part a partially conical shape, an end of the second housing having a smaller diameter secured to the second end of the first housing; at least one LED secured within the second; driver circuitry secured within the LED flood lamp between the end of the base and the at least one LED; a reflector having a partially conical shape; and a diffuser element secured to at least one of a wider end of the reflector or the end of the second housing having the larger diameter. In some embodiments, the first or second housing may include one or more vents.

A light source module is provided. The light source module includes a lead frame, a light source, a cup part, and a reflector. The light source is disposed on the lead frame, wherein the light source provides a light. The cup part is disposed on the lead frame, wherein the cup part includes an opening, a plurality of thick-wall portions and a plurality of thin-wall portions. The thick-wall portions and the thin-wall portions surround the light source and define a space. The reflector covers the opening. At least a portion of the light is reflected by the reflector, and is emitted through the thick-wall portions and the thin-wall portions.

A solar powered lamp attachment assembly for reducing energy consumption includes a base having an inner wall with a bottom end attached to a socket. The socket inserts into a porcelain lamp holder. An outer wall has an outer surface and a top surface. A plurality of lights is positioned on the top surface of the outer wall. A level switch on the outer surface includes a low button, a high button and a mid button. A solar panel is provides power to the plurality of lights. Additionally, a main switch is positioned on the outer surface of the outer wall of the base. The main switch includes a night button to enable a photoelectric cell, an actuator button to close or open electric power from the solar panel to the plurality of lights, and a plus button to enable a plurality of extra lights.

Various embodiments are directed to an adjustable light fixture and method of installing the same. Various embodiments of the adjustable light fixture comprise a light head comprising a light source, a lens, and a frame; a socket base configured to be secured relative to a socket of a light assembly; and an extender located between the light head and the socket base and configured to move between an extended configuration and a compressed configuration. The invention provides a rotator element (1200) for e.g. a screw cap of a lighting device, wherein the rotator element (1200) is rotatable in first direction, wherein the rotator element (1200) comprises a movable element (310) which is at least movable in a plane parallel to the first rotation direction, wherein the movable element (310) is configured to exert a torque in the same direction as the first rotation direction when a vibration in a plane parallel to the first rotation direction is applied to the rotator element (1200).
