A mounting system for a recessed light fixture includes a frame and a holder supported by the frame. The holder includes a base and a support portion extending from the base. The support portion includes a top end, a bottom end opposite from the top end, and an edge extending from the top end to the bottom end. The edge includes a transition portion between the top end and the bottom end, a first step between the bottom end and the transition portion, and a plurality of second steps between the first step and the transition portion. At least one characteristic of the first step is different from each second step.

Lighting fixture having an adjustable optic system

A lighting assembly is disclosed. The lighting assembly including a number of separate and distinct features to improve useable, installation ease, etc. In one embodiment, the lighting assembly includes a heat sink, a light source, and an adjustment module portion coupled to the heat sink. The adjustment module portion includes a pivot core having a primary optic for directing light from the light source through the adjustment module. The adjustment module portion also includes a collar spring mount having first and second brackets for slidably engaging the pivot core along a plurality of guide slots such that the pivot core moves horizontally with respect to the collar spring mount as the pivot core is tilted with respect to the collar spring mount. The plurality of guide slots may include first, second and third guide slots, each of which has a different shape.

Lighting fixture having an adjustable optic system

A lighting assembly is disclosed. An enclosure for recessed lighting, comprising a lateral wall, a top wall and a removable and re-attachable enclosure base, the enclosure base includes a light source, power supply, optic, heat sink and a collar. The enclosure may include an integral junction box, or hangar bar bracket, and one or more cutouts to reduce the possible interference between enclosure and joists in the installation vicinity. The enclosure may be made out of a 3D printable material, moldable material or plastic to facilitate ease of manufacture, reduction of parts, reduction of weight, and elimination of finish steps, such as paint. Multiple enclosures may be stacked for shipping or storage, and hanger bars may be affixed to the lateral wall for installation of the enclosure in a ceiling or wall without the need for a secondary bracket.

An improved decorative lighting system constructed having a support framework assembly for mounting decorative lights in connection with a window frame. The support framework assembly comprises a plurality of tubular track members, each formed having a slotted chamber section extending the length of the track member with a squared outer edge formed along either side at the base of the chamber to provide a substantially flat planar surface along the base of the track member. A plurality of articulating end clips are formed to engage each track member and interconnect with another to join the track members in a substantially rectangular configuration adjustable to conform to the shape of the window frame. A plurality of specially configured light mounting clips are formed to press-fit and slide along the flat perimeter surface of the track members and hold the decorative lights in selected positions along the track members. Ring members included upon selected ones of the articulating end clips are used and positioned in upper corners of the framework assembly to engage conventional hooks or tabs secured to the window frame and facilitate the mounting of the framework assembly and its removal and storage when desired. The articulating end clips further allow the complete support framework assembly to fold and store more easily.
