Light emitting device
A light emitting device includes a flexible substrate, at least one light emitting element, a sealing resin and an adhesion layer. The flexible substrate includes a flexible base member and a plurality of wiring portions disposed on one surface of the base member. At least one light emitting element is arranged on a first surface of the flexible substrate and electrically connected to the wiring portions. The sealing resin seals the light emitting element. The adhesion layer is arranged on a second surface of the flexible substrate different from the first surface of the flexible substrate. The adhesion layer has a non-adhesive region corresponding at least to a region on the first surface where the at least one light emitting element is arranged. The non-adhesive region is covered with a non-adhesive layer.
Detachable, retro fitting light accessory for high-heeled shoes
A detachable, retrofitting light accessory for both magnetic and adhesive attachment to a high-heeled shoe having an open archway with a ferrous metal shank, having a light-emitting diode (LED) light assembly, a magnet affixed to the LED light assembly and configured to magnetically engage the ferrous metal shank in the open archway of the shoe, and to magnetically attach the light accessory to the shoe, and a double-sided adhesive strip configured for placement between the magnet and an outer surface in the open archway to also adhesively attach the light accessory to the shoe, to prevent the light accessory from slipping relative to the shoe during use.
Holiday light attachment system
The holiday light attachment system is an extension structure. The holiday light attachment system includes an elevated anchor, a cable holder, a shaft mount, an extension shaft, and a light string. The cable holder attaches the light string to the elevated anchor. The shaft mount attaches to the extension shaft. The shaft mount is a tool that secures the cable holder to the elevated anchor. The holiday light attachment system attaches the light string to an elevated structure. By elevated structure is meant a surface that is above the reach of an individual. The holiday light attachment system allows the individual to attach the light string to the elevated structure without having to change the elevation of the individual.
Panel, system, kit of parts and methods
There is disclosed a flexible panel, including (i) a fluorescent layer; (ii) an electroluminescent panel layer arranged to illuminate the fluorescent layer; (iii) an ultraviolet protection layer, transparent to visible light, arranged on a front face of the flexible panel to protect the fluorescent layer, and (iv) an adhesive layer; wherein the adhesive layer is arranged on a rear face of the flexible panel, such that the flexible panel is attachable to a surface. There are further disclosed related systems including such flexible panels and a power supply for the flexible panel; objects including such systems; related kits of parts; related methods of assembly; related methods of connection; and connector systems suitable for connecting such flexible panels to a power supply for the flexible panel.
CANE WITH MOTION INITIATED ILLUMINATOR
The device disclosed herein is a walking cane comprised of an elongate shaft having a proximal end and a distal end. The proximal end includes a handle member having a grip surface and forward-facing front face. The front face comprises a steel surface for attaching an LED illuminator having a magnet attached to the illuminator. A magnet formed into or attached to the back of the LED illuminator attaches to the steel surface of the front face of the handle to hold the LED illuminator in place. The illuminator has an on-board battery to provide power to the light. The LED illuminator additionally includes a motion sensor and an ambient light sensor such that the LED illuminator when attached to the walking cane will activate upon the sensors detecting both motion of the waking cane and a low light condition.
LIGHTING DEVICES FOR ATTACHMENT TO A HANDHELD ELECTROSURGICAL INSTRUMENT
A cordless, battery powered lighting device is disclosed which is configured to be removably installed on a distal end portion of a handheld electrosurgical instrument, and once the lighting device is installed on the distal end portion of the instrument, light automatically projects from the lighting device along the longitudinal axis of the surgical instrument.
Temporary Light Strip System
A modular system of light strips is configured for use on a roadway surface. The light strips are configured to withstand vehicular traffic, such as passenger cars, trucks, and even heavy equipment such as found in a construction zone. The light strips have a rigid, durable housing that protects a series of LEDs within the housing. The LEDs are preferably positioned fully within the housing, with lenses directing light from the LEDs through the sidewall of the housing and toward vehicular traffic on the roadway. The channel is filled with a protective material, such as a polymer resin, for example a polyurethane resin, that serves to protect the LEDs and power supply running within the channel. The modular system can be provided with a power source, such as solar panels, or alternatively configured for connection to a power grid. The modular system can include one or more sensors to activate the system or alternatively to control the brightness of the lights in the system and be configured with light strips that connect together or can be substituted for one another allowing them to be interchangeable and easily carried, moved, installed and disassembled.
Combination lamp support stabilizer and electrical connector
A stabilizer and electrical connector maintains a stable and secure electrical connection between an electric lighting module lamp support and a signage frame. The connector is an integral, unitary body having a plate shaped base section with dual lateral tension clips extending down from the base section and an adhesive member which is attached to the bottom surface of the base section. The connector uses a “stick and hold” method to lock itself to the face of a signage frame. The integral body also has a columnar support section having a through channel extending up from the base section to accept an electric lighting module lamp support. An electrical connector section having a front facing cavity containing front facing electrical plugs and at least one lateral cavity containing laterally facing electric plugs also forms a part of the connector's integral body.
Flexible LEDs strips with staggered interconnects
A flexible light emitting diode (LED) circuit having a first layer, the first layer including a conductive material configured to connect to an LED die, a second layer, the second layer including an electrically insulating material, and a third layer positioned between the first and second layer, the third layer having a first terminal extended electrically connecting tab that extends outward beyond the first layer and the second layer.
LIGHTING SYSTEM FOR AIRCRAFT
An aircraft cabin lighting system comprises one or more cabin lighting units, each cabin lighting unit comprising an emergency exit sign arranged to be electrically illuminated; and one or more luminescent emergency exit signs. The luminescent emergency exit signs are portable, and each comprise an adhesive layer arranged to allow the luminescent emergency exit sign to be adhered to a surface. The signs are arranged to be adhered to a surface in the vicinity of the electrical emergency exit sign in use, and do not require electricity to function.
