A luminaire includes an adjustable torsion spring assembly for mounting the light engine assembly to a mounting frame and for providing the ability to conduct maintenance of the light engine assembly. The luminaire may include a mounting frame assembly; an light engine assembly engaged with at least a portion of the mounting frame assembly, the light engine assembly comprising at least one light source configured to emit light; and a support wire adjustably-coupled at a first end to a side of the light engine assembly, the support wire extending in the first direction from the side of the light engine assembly, and comprising at least one hook at a second end.

A minimal dive light assembly includes two flashlights and a U-shaped handle. One of the flashlights is provided as a primary and the other is provided as a back-up torch. The lights are placed within the upper space of the handle close to each other being fastened to the top bar of the handle by means of fastening devices. In one embodiment, the fastening device may be provided as elastic cords. In another embodiment, the fastening device may be provided as clamps. Auxiliary devices such as a bolt snap, a wrist lanyard, and retractor can be added to the assembly in order to add extra features. Having the lights placed in the upper space of the handle provides a more protected torch light that is less likely to become entangled in ropes.

Illumination assembly for providing a Christmas tree impression, comprising at least two bands which in a set up condition of the illumination assembly, seen in side view of the illumination assembly, bound a triangular area. At least one string of lights extends zigzag in the associated triangular area and is connected via light string fastening elements with the bands. With the aid of band fastening elements and top fastening means, the bands are positioned and kept in a tensed condition relative to a fixed external object, such as a pole, a wall, a door and/or a tree. The illumination assembly is arranged to be brought from a packaged condition to the set up condition and vice versa.

Illumination assembly for providing a Christmas tree impression, comprising at least two bands which in a set up condition of the illumination assembly, seen in side view of the illumination assembly, bound a triangular area. A winch comprises a cable roll; a cable having one end fixed to the cable roll and another end configured to electrically connect an electric device to the cable, wherein the cable is further configured to provide the electric device with electric power and/or with data; a framework to which the cable roll is mounted; measuring means connected to the framework and configured to provide data related to the length of an unwound part of the cable; and processing means configured to control winding and unwinding of the cable based on data provided by the measuring means. The cable has a predetermined reference state at which a predetermined fixed reference point is at a reference position in relation to a coordinate system, wherein the length of unwound cable is defined as the distance measured along the cable, between the location of the predetermined fixed reference point and the reference position.

Disclosed herein is a luminaire apparatus having an air cleaner attached thereto, which is connected by wires and cables so as to be vertically movable. More particularly, the luminaire apparatus enables a luminaire and air cleaner, which are considerably heavy, installed on a ceiling to be safely moved vertically using wires in order to perform replacement of light bulbs, replacement of air cleaner filters, troubleshooting, or maintenance, and is usable through supply of power to the luminaire and the air cleaner at a desired height by installing the air cleaner capable of vertically moving together with the luminaire and by installing power cables capable of supplying power even when the luminaire and the air cleaner are moved up and down.

A system and method are provided for levelling suspended luminaires. The system includes a shuttle and a thumb wheel disposed in a housing. The shuttle includes a gripper for securing the cable wires that attach to the luminaire. A rotational movement of the thumb wheel is translated to linear movement of the shuttle within a slot of the housing to allow adjustment of an attachment point of the cable wire relative to the rest of the luminaire to enable tool-free levelling of the luminaire.

A system and method are provided for levelling suspended luminaires. The system includes a shuttle and a thumb wheel disposed in a housing. The shuttle includes a gripper for securing the cable wires that attach to the luminaire. A rotational movement of the thumb wheel is translated to linear movement of the shuttle within a slot of the housing to allow adjustment of an attachment point of the cable wire relative to the rest of the luminaire to enable tool-free levelling of the luminaire.
