The support arms may be extendible from a central portion and this extension may be resisted by internal springs. A cellular telephone may be held within the extended arms to provide gripping support to the telephone. In the parallel configuration, the extendable arms may provide a further mounting surface for stability of the phone on its magnetic mounting surface.
