SWEEPING ILLUMINATOR FOR AQUARIUM TANKS
A sweeping illumination system illuminates an aquarium with organisms requiring simulated sunlight for survival. The illumination system includes a downward-facing light housing for illuminating a top surface of the aquarium. A support arm is coupled to the light housing and enables the light housing to sweep a pattern across the top surface of the aquarium. The sweep pattern can be semi-circular or semi-elliptical along a plane parallel to the top surface of the aquarium.
LIGHTING SYSTEM HAVING A MOUNTING DEVICE
Lighting system including mounting body, lever-locking bracket, and lighting module. Mounting body has first end spaced apart along longitudinal axis from second end. Lever-locking bracket includes bracket body and lever actuator. Lever-locking bracket is pivotally connected with first end of mounting body by flange retained in alignment with aperture of mounting body communicating with cavity inside mounting body. Lighting module has semiconductor light-emitting device in housing, and has mounting arm pivotally connected with lever-locking bracket by first pivot joint for rotation of lighting module to plurality of primary positions around first pivot axis. Flange of the lever-locking bracket forms part of second pivot joint for rotation of lighting module to plurality of secondary positions around second pivot axis. Lever-locking bracket is configured for simultaneously locking lighting module at primary position and secondary position by movement of lever actuator from an unlocked position to locked position.

LED lighting methods and apparatus
Apparatus and methods for lighting. The apparatus may include an LED light source. The light source may be disposed in housing. The apparatus may include a circuit. The circuit may be configured to cause the LED light source to emit light at: a first intensity; and a second intensity that is different from the first intensity. The apparatus may include a mechanical power state selector. A user may use the power state selector to select between LED light sources that are arranged to illuminate in different directions. The apparatus may include a CCT state selector. A user may use the CCT state selector to select a CCT for one or more LED light sources. The CCT may be produced by combining light from one or more LEDs of different CCTs.

STAND LIGHT
A portable light includes an elongate body, a plurality of extension poles slidably received in the body and movable out of the body between an extended position and a retracted position, a light head pivotably coupled to one of the extension poles, and a head assembly housing fixed to the body and having an opening to receive the light head when the extension poles are in the retracted position. The portable light also includes a collar positioned around a portion of the body and movable between a first position and a second position, a handle coupled to the collar for movement with the collar, and a plurality of legs pivotably coupled to the collar. The legs are collapsed against the body when the handle and the collar are in the first position and are expanded apart from the body when the handle and the collar are in the second position.
PHOTOGRAPHIC LAMP AND LIGHTING ASSEMBLY
A lighting assembly includes a photographic lamp. The photographic lamp includes a lamp body, a first supporting arm and a second supporting arm. The first supporting arm is rotatably connected to a sidewall of the lamp body and capable of rotating around a rotation axis perpendicular to the sidewall of the lamp body. The second supporting arm is rotatably connected to the first supporting arm and capable of rotating around a rotation axis extending along a width direction of the first supporting arm. The rotation axis of the second supporting arm is perpendicular to the rotation axis of the first supporting arm. The second supporting arm includes a first rod and a second rod, the first rod being movable relative to the second rod to realize closing or opening of the second supporting arm.
DEPLOYABLE-BASE LIGHT FIXTURES AND RELATED METHODS
Some of the disclosed fixtures include a base defining a plane and an elongated arm having a first end that is pivotally coupled to the base via a hinge such that the arm is movable relative to the base between stowed and deployed positions in which the first end of the arm is substantially parallel and substantially perpendicular, respectively, to the plane, and a second end that is couplable to a light source. In some fixtures, movement of the arm to the deployed position moves or enables movement of the hinge to an engaged position in which the hinge prevents movement of the arm from the deployed position toward the stowed position via contacting hinge bearing surfaces. In some fixtures, only when the arm is in the deployed position, the hinge is in or movable to an engaged position that prevents movement of the arm from the deployed position.
