Motor vehicle optical system having a plurality of controlled light emission subsystems and light guide that cooperate to provide at least one predetermed lighting function
An optical light emission system for a motor vehicle, the optical system comprising: a first light emission subsystem comprising a first set of light sources, and a second light emission subsystem comprising a second set of light sources and a light guide able to diffuse the light from said light sources of the second set of light sources outside the optical system. The light guide is arranged facing the first set of light sources such that the first set of light sources substantially radiates through the light guide outside the optical system.
GUIDE DISPLAY DEVICE AND GUIDE SYSTEM
A guide display device which is installed in a predetermined direction includes: a first screen which is parallel to the predetermined direction; a first light source which illuminates the first screen; a cover which is provided above the first screen in the predetermined direction and projects in a direction crossing the first screen to block light from above the guide display device and cast a shadow upon an area of the guide display device; a second light source which illuminates the area on which the shadow cast; and a controller which causes at least the second light source to perform optical communication.
ONE PIECE WATER PERMEABLE PAVER
A one piece water permeable paver for forming a surface suitable for traffic having outer flex joint connection cells connected to connectors, outer three connection cells connected to one of the outer flex joint connection cells, outer two connection cells connected to two outer three connection cells, a plurality of inner single flex joint connection cells connected to one of the connectors, and an inner dual flex joint connection cell engaging two connectors, inner four connection cells connected to a pair of outer three connection cells and a pair of inner single flex joint connection cells. Fastening slots are formed partially through outer surfaces of cells that form two sides of the paver. Locking tabs extend from outer surfaces of cells forming two sides of the paver opposite the sides with the locking tabs, enabling a first paver to securely interlock to an adjacent paver.
Lighting apparatus
A lighting apparatus includes a driver, a first branch, a second branch, a first switch, a second switch, multiple middle switches, and a switch control unit. The first branch includes multiple first LED modules. The multiple first LED modules are divided into multiple first segments. There are first nodes between adjacent first segments. The second branch includes multiple second LED modules. The multiple second LED modules are divided into multiple second segments. There are second nodes between adjacent second segments. The switch control unit is used for controlling selections of the first switch, the second switch and the multiple middle switches for determining a conductive path of a selected set of LED modules selected from the multiple first segments and the multiple second segments for mixing a required optical parameter.
Temporary Light Strip System
A modular system of light strips is configured for use on a roadway surface. The light strips are configured to withstand vehicular traffic, such as passenger cars, trucks, and even heavy equipment such as found in a construction zone. The light strips have a rigid, durable housing that protects a series of LEDs within the housing. The LEDs are preferably positioned fully within the housing, with lenses directing light from the LEDs through the sidewall of the housing and toward vehicular traffic on the roadway. The channel is filled with a protective material, such as a polymer resin, for example a polyurethane resin, that serves to protect the LEDs and power supply running within the channel. The modular system can be provided with a power source, such as solar panels, or alternatively configured for connection to a power grid. The modular system can include one or more sensors to activate the system or alternatively to control the brightness of the lights in the system and be configured with light strips that connect together or can be substituted for one another allowing them to be interchangeable and easily carried, moved, installed and disassembled.
Illumination device
An illumination device includes two illumination sections. The first illumination section includes a plurality of illumination elements that are each configured to emit light in a light spectrum, wherein the light spectrum is variable. The second illumination section includes one or several illumination elements that are each configured to emit light in a fixed light spectrum, wherein the fixed light spectrum is white.
Electrical devices with lights and associated zone-synchronizable lighting systems with back-up power and related methods
Electrical devices with lights having onboard secondary power supplies are configured with synchronizable zone-based operation and/or color selectable modes. The electrical devices can be power receptacles and can be connected to a line input of a power circuit of a power grid and can also have the onboard secondary (emergency power) power supplies. The devices are configured so that respective lights can automatically illuminate upon motion detection in a zone and/or upon a disruption to the power circuit or to a powered state of a particular electrical device. The devices can be configured to allow a user to select different color or color temperatures using a color selection circuit.
Sequential and coordinated flashing of electronic roadside flares with active energy conservation
Electronic light emitting flares and related methods. Flares of the present invention include various features such as self-synchronization, remote control, motion-actuated or percussion-actuated features, dynamic shifting between side-emitting and top-emitting light emitters in response to changes in positional orientation (e.g., vertical vs. horizontal) of the flare; overrides to cause continued emission from side-emitting or top-emitting light emitters irrespective of changes in the flare's positional orientation; use of the flare(s) for illumination of traffic cones and other hazard marking or traffic safety objects or devices, group on/off features, frequency specificity to facilitate use of separate groups of flares in proximity to one another, selection and changing of flashing patterns and others.
Low power indicator circuit for optical scopes and other devices
An apparatus includes one or more light emitting diodes (LEDs) configured to be coupled to a power supply and to generate illumination, such as to generate a reticle in an optical scope. The apparatus also includes a first switch coupled in series with the one or more LEDs. The first switch is configured to selectively activate and deactivate the one or more LEDs based on whether the first switch is turned on or off. The apparatus further includes a low power detector configured to sense a low power condition of the power supply and to repeatedly turn the first switch on and off in response to the low power condition to cause the one or more LEDs to blink. The low power detector is configured to turn the first switch on and off at a given rate, and the given rate increases as the power supply is depleted.
