FASTENERS FOR SECURITY DEVICES
A security device, such as a passive infra-red motion detector (1) is provided with a plurality of fasteners (15, 25). One fastener (25) removably fastens a lens (4) to a housing of the passive infra-red detector, such that the lens (4) can be removed from the outside of the housing, whilst the other fastener (15) fastens a front section (2) of the housing to the rear section (3). Both fasteners (15, 25) are transparent/translucent and act as light guides.
Interlocking riot shield
An interlocking riot shield comprises a traditional riot shield having a pair female spring-loaded locks on a first shield vertical edge and a pair of male spring-loaded locks on a second shield vertical edge. Each riot shield is configured to join to an identical riot shield when the male edge interacts with the female edge. A pair of interlocked riot shields may be disengaged by means of the spring-loaded mechanism.
RECHARGEABLE USB ELECTRICAL OUTLET WITH INTEGRATED LIGHTING WITH CONNECTIVITY
An electrical outlet device and system for providing light and power during the night or during a power failure. The device and system includes rechargeable energy storage devices that can be utilized to provide power to the outlet(s) and the light sources. The device and system can have two sections, a main and a removable section both having their own energy storage devices and light sources. The removeable section may connected with a computing device that can interface with a wireless module to transmit/receive data packets wirelessly.
SECURITY FLASHLIGHTS WITH THREAT DETECTION
A rechargeable flashlight configured to communicate via a wireless network, and associated systems and methods are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, the rechargeable flashlight includes a light emitter configured to generate light outputted by the flashlight and an imaging device configured to capture environmental data from an area exposed to the output light. The flashlight can also include a cylindrical handheld main body that includes one or more functionally distinct modules configured to be detachably coupled together to provide coordinated operation. The flashlight can also include at least one user-controlled switch operable to control operation of one or more of the interchangeable cylindrical modules.
Emergency response and crime-reducing lighting system
A lighting assembly is configured to create an emergency notification. The lighting assembly has a housing with a housing first surface and a housing second surface. A plurality of strobe lights is arranged into at least one row and at least four columns. A direct current power system is joined to the plurality of strobe lights and further comprising a printed circuit board electrically coupled to radio frequency relay switch, and a battery. A wireless remote is communicatively coupled to the radio frequency relay switch. Activating the wireless remote directs the printed circuit board to provide power to the plurality of strobe lights creating the emergency notification.
SAFETY CORRIDOR ARRANGEMENT
The invention relates to a safety corridor arrangement for use in emergency situations, including an activation means, an operation means, associated with an activation centre, and a safety corridor suitable to guide or direct a person on a particular pathway. The activation centre, through activation of the activation means can cause operation of the operation means, and the operation means creates the safety corridor to guide a person along the safety corridor towards an exit. The invention also relates to a point of exit arrangement, and methods of use.
Lighting Fixture Having an Environmental Detection System
A lighting fixture is provided. The lighting fixture includes a sensor, a first power circuit configured to produce a first driving current for the sensor, a second power circuit a first power circuit configured to produce a second driving current for the sensor, and a switching device connected to the power supply. The switching device is configured to move between a first position and a second position, and to connect the first power circuit to a power supply in the first position, and connect the second power circuit to the power supply in the second position.
INTEGRATED CEILING DEVICE WITH MECHANICAL ARRANGEMENT FOR A LIGHT SOURCE
An integrated ceiling device includes a housing retaining an electronic assembly, a heat sink having a central opening, a light source coupled onto the heat sink, the housing is coupled with and disposed at least partly above the heat sink, and a central vertical axis of the housing aligns or is in proximity with the central opening of the heat sink.
Residential emergency lighting system
A lighting system for an electrical device includes one or more light sources coupled to an electrical outlet. The one or more light sources are configured to receive power from a power supply and configured to generate output light on at least one side edge of the electrical device. The lighting system includes a controller communicatively coupled to the one or more light sources. The controller is configured to receive a signal from an auxiliary unit and control the one or more light sources to operate between an on-state and an off-state responsive to the signal from the auxiliary unit.
Electrical outlet cover with integrated lighting with connectivity
A lighting device and system having a faceplate and a backplate. The faceplate or the backplate may have an arm or a set of arms having electrical conductors to connect or couple to the electrical contact points of an outlet, plug, or switch. The operational modes may be in an emergency lighting mode and a nightlight mode. The voltage source can be connected to a light source or sensor through the control circuit or the switch, and the light source may be activated based on the output of the sensor. A controller is connected to the sensor can send or receive wireless signals through a wireless module.
