LIGHT FIXTURE
A light fixture includes a housing having a first portion and a second portion. The light fixture further includes a first light emitting element supported within the first portion of the housing, and a second light emitting element supported within the second portion of the housing. The second light emitting element is controlled such that the second light emitting element provides a different color than the first light emitting element.
SMART MASKS
A smart mask includes a face covering, an attachment member, one or more sensors, and a controller. The face covering is configured to cover a face area of a wearer. The attachment member is configured to attach the face covering onto the face area of the wearer. The one or more sensors comprises an air quality sensor configured to obtain first data associated with nearby air quality or a breathing pattern sensor configured to obtain second data associated with the wearer's breathing pattern. The controller is configured to process the first data associated with nearby air quality to identify a current air quality, or process the second data obtained by the breathing pattern. In response to determining that the current air quality is worse than a predetermined threshold, or identifying a particular breathing pattern, the controller is configured to generate a notification, notifying the wearer.
LED lighting platform
A modular light assembly having a control housing surrounding a power driver and at least one modular component. The modular component includes two side portions, a plurality of ribs extending between the two side portions to form a grated portion, and a flat portion configured to receive a COB LED. The lighting assembly may also comprise a video assembly having a camera and control circuitry provided within the lighting and video assembly for remotely controlling the camera.
Lens for a notification strobe
A notification appliance (10) includes a lighting element (30) and strobe drive electronics (18) mounted on a single printed circuit board (14). A lens (20) is mounted to the printed circuit board (14) over the lighting element (30). The lens (20) includes a cavity (35) disposed over the lighting element (30). The lens (20) is shaped to focus light from the lighting element (30) into a far-field lighting pattern (40) including a visible first arc (42) that subtends approximately a 90° angle in a first plane, a visible second arc (44) that subtends approximately a 180° angle in a second plane, and two visible spots (46), each spot (46) on an opposite side of the first arc (42) from the other. A lens (20) for a notification appliance (10) is also disclosed.
IMAGING APPARATUSES AND ENCLOSURES CONFIGURED FOR DEPLOYMENT IN CONNECTION WITH CEILINGS AND DOWNLIGHT CAVITIES
Imaging apparatuses and enclosures configured for deployment in connection with ceilings and downlight cavities are disclosed. Certain exemplary aspects relate to imaging apparatuses for monitoring, recording or imaging a space such as a room having overhead lighting provided via ceiling structures that may include enclosures and/or downlight fixtures within ceiling cavities, and various imaging apparatuses herein may include an infrared or thermal camera, for example, for imaging within such spaces.
Conspicuity devices and methods
The invention provides conspicuity devices and methods. A first embodiment includes a glove with at least one elongate lighting device adapted and configured to admit light having an advantageous spectral energy distribution. Additional articles of clothing are provided herein for enhanced conspicuity, such as for emergency workers and athletes.
Optical signaling system for a smart-home device
Various arrangements for light distribution incorporated as part of a device are presented. A circular light guide may be used that receives light from a plurality of light emitters that can be arranged in a circular pattern. A conical reflector may be used and may be positioned to reflect light emitted from the circular light guide onto an exterior of a case of the device. The conical reflector may reflect light such that light is reflected by the exterior of the case in the shape of a halo into an ambient environment of the device.
Light-emitting systems for headgear
A light-emitting system is provided which is removably attachable to headgear for personal illumination to enhance visibility of the user to others. The light-emitting system includes a housing that defines a receiving aperture and is configured to surround a portion of the headgear when the light-emitting system is removably attached to the headgear for use. The light-emitting system further includes at least one lens and a plurality of lighting elements coupled to the annular housing which are configured to selectively generate a halo or at least a partial halo of light that radiates outwardly away from the annular housing through the at least one lens to provide enhanced personal illumination.
Underwater observation apparatus
An underwater observation apparatus includes an observation apparatus body, a weight structure, a coupling device, and a fusion cutting device. The observation apparatus body is configured to house at least a power source, a communication circuit for a communication device, and a signal processing device. The coupling device couples the observation apparatus body with the weight structure via a remote-controlled release structure capable of releasing the observation apparatus body from the weight structure. The underwater observation apparatus also includes a power feeding coil located inside of a glass sphere to generate magnetic flux, and a power receiving coil located outside of the glass sphere. The power receiving coil generates an induced voltage when interlinked by the magnetic flux generated by the power feeding coil. The power receiving coil is configured to supply drive power to the fusion cutting device.
Coupled Dual Switch Actuators with Lockout Feature for a Lighting Attachment to a Firearm
An ambidextrous actuating mechanism configured as a mechanical interlock may be adapted to a battery operated light emitting device for mounting forward of the trigger guard of a firearm. The mechanism includes first and second mechanically coupled pivotable switch actuators disposed under and on either side of the barrel of the firearm. Operation of either one of the first and second actuator levers locks the other actuator from pivoting, thereby eliminating ambiguity and overridden operations in the control of the light emitting device. The operating motion of both actuators, either up for ON or down for MOMENTARY, is the same for both actuators. An alternate embodiment provides functionally equivalent electronically interlocked actuators.
