APPLICATION-TARGETED LIGHT ON POWERED RATCHET OR RIGHT-ANGLE POWER TOOL
A power tool having a handle extending along a longitudinal axis, wherein the handle is configured to house a motor. A ratchet head is connected to a first end of the handle. The ratchet head supports an output shaft having a drive square or bit that is driven by the motor. The ratchet wrench includes an application-targeted lighting system disposed around a periphery of the handle that illuminates the ratchet head and a workpiece below the output shaft. The application-targeted lighting system may include an array of Chip-On-Board LED lights. The application-targeted lighting system illuminates the workspace in applications where socket extenders and/or deep sockets are used with the ratchet wrench.
POWER TOOL
A power tool includes a motor, an output shaft that is rotated by a rotational force of the motor, a chip-on-board light emitting diode disposed around the output shaft, and a white translucent optical member including a light refraction portion that refracts light emitted from the chip-on-board light emitting diode. In at least one cross section parallel to and passing through a rotation axis of the output shaft, a shape of the light refraction portion is line-symmetric with respect to the rotation axis.

A power tool includes: a motor; an output shaft that is rotated by a rotational force of the motor; a chip-on-board light emitting diode disposed around the output shaft; and a suppression device configured to suppress a temperature of the chip-on-board light emitting diode to a predetermined allowable value or less.
POWER TOOL
A power tool includes a motor, an output shaft, a chip-on-board light emitting diode, and a light cover. The output shaft is rotated by a rotational force of the motor. The chip-on-board light emitting diode is disposed around the output shaft. The chip-on-board light emitting diode includes: a substrate including a circular ring portion; and an LED chip disposed on a front surface of the circular ring portion. The light cover is fixed to the substrate. The light cover includes: an outer cylindrical portion disposed radially outside with respect to the circular ring portion; and a light transmission portion through which light emitted from the LED chip passes. An opening is provided in a lower portion of the outer cylindrical portion.

A power tool includes a motor, an output shaft, a chip-on-board light emitting diode, and a light cover. The output shaft is rotated by a rotational force of the motor. The chip-on-board light emitting diode is disposed around the output shaft. The chip-on-board light emitting diode includes: a substrate having a circular ring portion; and an LED chip disposed on a front surface of the circular ring portion. The light cover is fixed to the substrate. The light cover includes: an inner cylindrical portion disposed radially inside with respect to the circular ring portion; and a light transmission portion through which light emitted from the LED chip passes. The inner cylindrical portion includes a cover slope that totally reflects light from the LED chip forward.
Tool illumination device
An illumination source disposed in a housing of a tool without the need for fasteners or snaps. The illumination source includes a number illumination elements, such as LEDs, disposed on a circuit board. A lens and the housing cooperatively direct light emitted by the illumination elements away from a user's eyes during use of the tool.
Paint applicator assembly including a light assembly
A paint applicator assembly includes a frame having a base. The base has a forward side, a first lateral side, and a second lateral side opposite the first lateral side. A light assembly is supported by the frame. The light assembly includes a printed circuit board having a forward side portion positioned proximate the forward side of the base. The light assembly further includes a plurality of light sources supported on the printed circuit board. The plurality of light sources includes a first light source and a second light source positioned on the forward side portion. The first light source is configured to direct light along a first direction, and the second light source is configured to direct light along a second direction that is different than the first direction.

In one aspect of the present disclosure, an electric working machine includes an integrally-molded member, a first conductor, and a second conductor. The integrally-molded member includes a surface and contains an insulation material. The first conductor is integrally provided to the surface of the integrally-molded member and supplies a first current. The second conductor is integrally provided to the integrally-molded member and supplies a second current. A portion of the second conductor is embedded into the integrally-molded member.
Handheld implement with light
An embodiment provides a handheld implement, including: an elongated handle comprising a first end and a second end substantially opposite the first end; an implement head located at and mechanically attached to one of: the first end and the second end; and a light source mechanically coupled to and along a longitudinal axis of the elongated handle, wherein the light source is positioned at a location on the elongated handle such that a least a portion of light that emits from the light source illuminates an area proximate to the implement head.
