Dental light curing apparatus
The invention relates to a dental light curing apparatus, having a display device on or at a housing wall of the light curing apparatus, especially on the upper face of the light curing apparatus, having a plurality of light sources, which are arranged below said wall and facing the wall, wherein at least part of the wall is transparent to the light radiation emitted from the light sources, wherein the wall comprises a smooth outer surface, and an equally essentially smooth inner surface of the wall is provided with a negative pattern (18), and especially is printed, leaving the symbols (14) free, which negative pattern (18) is light-impermeable or essentially light-impermeable, and that the wall is superimposed onto the light source structure, which comprises partition walls (32), which separate the light sources (30) from each other.
HEAD-MOUNTED MEDICAL/DENTAL ACCESSORIES WITH VOICE-CONTROLLED OPERATION
Head-mounted accessories for surgeons and medical/dental practitioners are equipped with no-touch, hands-free controls. A voice-activated headlamp includes a controller operative to send a signal to control a light source in accordance with a voice command received through an integrated or remote microphone. The voice command and control may be speaker-dependent or speaker-independent, and the head-mounted unit may include an interface to a computer for voice-command training or other purposes. The head-mounted unit includes a memory for storing the voice commands. The invention may be used to control other medical/dental accessories such as a head-mounted video camera, in which case the controller is further operative to at least turn the video camera ON or OFF. More preferably, a controller is additionally operative to control the focus or zoom of the video camera in accordance with a voice command.
MEDICAL LIGHT
1. A medical light (100) has an illumination unit (10) having lighting means (20) and optical means (30) for generating a light field (200), wherein the lighting means (20) are formed by an essentially punctiform LED light source (21) and the optical means (30) have a plate-shaped collimator (40) and a cover pane (50). The collimator (40) has a central area (42), which is provided with light-refracting structures (43) on a side facing away from the LED light source (21), and an outer area (46), which is provided with structures (48) designed for total reflection on a side facing toward the LED light source (21), wherein the cover pane (50) is provided with a lens structure, which has a plurality of individual lenses which each project the light emitted by the collimator (40) onto the object plane. The rear side of the central area of the collimator facing toward the LED light source is provided with partial surfaces (45, 145), which have an inclination in relation to a plane (E3) of the collimator (40), in order to asymmetrically expand the light field (200) in one direction.
[FIG. 2]
Dental light using LEDs
A dental light comprises at least one light emitting diode light source configured to produce a light beam and at least one collimating lens system situated to receive the light beam. The collimating lens system is configured to collect and collimate the light beam. The collimating lens system can additionally modify the beam through controlled diffusion or shape the beam using an aperture.
Method and apparatus for performing on-site mobile dentistry
The present invention is a method for performing on-site mobile dentistry utilizing a mobile dental chair and mobile dental lamp in combination. The mobile dental chair can be wheeled to a site and can elevate and recline a patient to a comfortable position for the patient and dentist or dental care provider. The mobile dental chair is driven onto and parked on the flat support base of mobile dental lamp, thereby holding the mobile dental lamp in a safe and stable position. The mobile dental lamp provides high intensity illumination suitable for providing modern dental care. The mobile dental lamp may be provided with removable wheels to aid in transporting the lamp to and from a site.
SURGICAL LAMP WITH BRIGHTNESS REGULATION
The invention relates to a surgical lamp for illuminating an operating area, including: a number of individual lamps which, in an activated state, form a light beam bundle generating a light field region in an illumination plane wherein a total light field is formed, a brightness detection device to determine an actual brightness value in the total light field, as well as a control unit which acts on the individual lamps such that the illumination intensity is controlled in accordance with the determined actual brightness value, wherein the brightness detection device and the control unit are designed such that an illumination intensity of a first individual lamp can be set in a targeted manner depending on the actual brightness value and same can be set for brightening or dimming a first light field region independently of an illumination intensity of a second individual light.
