Elongated Lighting Apparatus
An elongated lighting apparatus includes an elongated housing and one or more elongated light source. The elongated light sources are inside the housing. Each elongated light source is coupled with at least one elongated lens on the housing. There is a means mounted on the housing for adjusting the direction, or the beam angle, or both, of the light emitted out of the at least one elongated lens. The at least one elongated lens and the elongated housing may be coated with an anti-bacterial photocatalytic film that can be activated by visible light.
System for illuminating medical infusion lines
Disclosed are various embodiments for illuminated medical infusion including, for example, a medical infusion system which includes a source of illumination and an illuminating infusion line and wherein the illuminating infusion line includes an integrated fluid transmission channel and light transmission channel.
LED lighting element and method of manufacturing same
A lighting element is disclosed that provides a projection of light forming a substantially uniform bright light on a surface a known distance from the lighting element. The lighting elements includes a dome lens that is removably positioned on a light source, such that the light source is retained at a location within a focal length of a projection lens and at or within a focal length of the dome lens. The dome lens magnifies the light outputted by the light source, such that the projected light is brighter than the light generated by the light source.
Luminaire and illumination system
A luminaire (11) is provided having sensors means (16) for detecting or determining information relating to a subject. The information is usable to determine changes to light output.
ADAPTIVE LIGHTING ARRAY WITH IMAGE-BASED CONTROL
A light assembly is configured to selectively illuminate an operating region in a surgical suite. The assembly comprises a plurality of lighting modules comprising a plurality of light sources configured to emit light. The assembly further comprises at least one imager configured to capture image data disposed in at least one of the lighting modules. An articulating head assembly is configured to support each of the lighting modules. The articulating head assembly comprises a plurality of actuators configured to rotate each of the lighting modules about a first axis and a second axis. The assembly further comprises a controller. The controller is configured to scan the image data for at least one region of interest comprising at least one of a shaded region and a contaminated region.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CONTROLLING LIGHT IN AN INCUBATOR
The present disclosure provides for an incubator, which includes a film with a plurality of configurations. The configurations can include a first configuration to block the transmission of light through the film and a second configuration to be transparent to the transmission of light. The film can further allow any number of additional configurations with varying degrees of opacity, each opacity being between the opacities of the first and second configurations. The film can automatically change opacities based on input from an incubator processor or external devices configured to communicate with the incubator processor.
MODULAR LIGHT PANEL
A modular light panel is described that comprises a transparent base substrate, upon a first surface of which is mounted an array of light sources, and a transparent protecting layer arranged to encapsulate the light sources upon the first surface. The refractive index of these layers is such that they form a composite structure for guiding light produced by the light sources within the composite structure. The modular light panel also comprise a wireless communication module and or environment sensor units located on the first surface to measure one or more physical properties of a volume illuminated by the light sources. The modular light panel exhibits increased levels of light output, are easier to manufacture than known devices while offering increased functionality. In addition, they remove the need for separate dedicated environment sensor units to be employed in a room while providing a means for thermally mapping the room.
