Exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a merchandise display system having a modular wall assembly configured to provide electrical power to one or more shelf assemblies. The wall assembly can include a vertically oriented back panel, a cross bar horizontally and detachably mounted to the back panel, a pair of vertical uprights and a top cap. The pair of vertical uprights can be detachably mounted to the cross bar with each of the vertical uprights having an electrically non-conductive portion and an electrically conductive portion. The electrically conductive portion can be electrically isolated from the cross bar by the electrically non-conductive portion. The top cap can be disposed along an upper edge of the back panel and in electrical contact with electrically conductive portion of each of the vertical uprights.

PANEL WITH INTEGRATED ILLUMINATION

An illuminating panel includes a support holding an integrated illumination. The integrated illumination is an illuminating textile including woven optical fibers coupled to light sources. The optical fibers emit light under an angle suitable for enlightening an adjacent surface substantially perpendicular to the plane of the illuminating panel.

A table that includes a planar upper surface having a recess, a lamp positioned in the recess, a first sensor, and an embedded touch control. The lamp can be in a closed position or a raised position, and have a first section and a second section. The first section is attached to the planar upper surface at an end thereof. The first sensor detects the position of the lamp and controls the lamp based on the position of the lamp. The embedded touch control is located beneath the planar upper surface, and controls the light level of the lamp.

[Problem] To provide an illumination system with which a visual effect is provided such that it is possible to give an appearance of expanding depth on the far side of a wall face, even if a person stands directly in front thereof. [Solution] An illumination system (100) comprises a light source (130), and a reflection board (120) that provides a reflection face that reflects illumination light from the light source (130). The reflection lace of the reflection board (120) is a processed reflection face in which are disposed a plurality of grooves which are very narrow parallel straight lines or parallel curved lines with respect to a flat plane. A support body (110) supports the light source (130) facing and in close proximity to the processed reflection board of the reflection board (120). Light points appear, arranged perpendicularly in the center of the reflection board (120) facing the light source. The formation locations of virtual images of each of the light points are formed further in the depth direction from the processed reflection board the further apart they are vertically, and thus a viewer has the sense of viewing a light beam track which is formed when a horizontal plane, which seemingly expands horizontally in the depth of the wall face, is illuminated, and has the sense of viewing an expanding space in the depth direction of the wall face.

Embedded furniture systems include a furniture assembly having a furniture stowage component and a furniture element extending from and moveably connected to the stowage component. The stowage component has a body with a furniture compartment recessed therein. The furniture element is selectively stowable in the compartment and deployable therefrom on a first side of the assembly. The assembly extends through an opening disposed in a wall component. The surface of the first side of the assembly is aligned with a first side of the wall and the covered portion of the body extends from an opposing second side of the wall. A concealing element is disposed about and substantially covers an exposed portion of the body on an opposing second side of the assembly. The concealing element includes a substantially hollow furniture component such that the covered portion of the body appears to be a piece of furniture.

Rack mounted light

Generally, the present disclosure provides for a light engine, in particular a rack-mounted light engine that can be used in a lighting system. The rack mounted light engine can be positioned in an electronics component rack such a light distribution system using hollow light ducts may distribute the light over a large area, such as a data center. Such a light distribution can use a generated light more efficiently by directing the light to the fronts or backs of the electronics cabinet, rather than for general room illumination.

Modular shelving systems, magnetic electrical connectors, conductor assemblies, and mounting inserts

Modular shelving systems, magnetic electrical connectors, conductor assemblies, and mounting inserts are disclosed. A modular shelving system includes at least one shelving module, a power module coupled to the at least one shelving module, and a conductor assembly coupled to the at least one shelving module and electrically connected to the power module. The conductor assembly includes a board including a first column of apertures and a second column of apertures, a back plate formed from a ferromagnetic material or from a magnetic material, a first conductor electrically coupled to the power module and positioned between the back plate and the board, and a second conductor electrically coupled to the power module and positioned between the back plate and the board. The first conductor is aligned with the first column of apertures of the board. The second conductor is aligned with the second column of apertures of the board.
