NARROW APERTURE LUMINAIRES AND LIGHT GUIDES THEREFOR
A light guide for a luminaire is provided. The light guide includes: an elongated base comprising a light emitting surface at a distal end, and opposing major faces; and a plurality of collimators arranged in an adjacent manner and projecting in a proximal direction from the base, wherein each collimator has a light receiving surface at a proximal end, wherein each collimator expands laterally outwardly in a distal direction. Substantially all light received at the light receiving surfaces internally reflects through the collimators and the base and emits from the light emitting surface.
Elevated structure-mounted lighting system
An improved elevated structure-mounted lighting system is disclosed. The lighting system may be used on drilling rigs, or with other applications, including for drilling, production, refineries, frac sites, construction, and other industrial applications that may use tower/mast type equipment. The improved elevated structure-mounted lighting system may accommodate any style or design of crown section of a drilling rig and may be mounted on a pole or independent mount system.
PORTABLE LIGHTING SYSTEMS
A portable lighting system includes a housing with a lower surface, walls extending from the lower surface, and a cavity defined by the lower surface and the walls. The cavity is divided into a first space and a second space. A light body is coupled to the housing for movement between a first position, in which the light body encloses the first space, and a second position, in which the light body allows access to the first space. A battery is removably received in the second space.
Dock light apparatus
A dock light apparatus comprises a light fixture and an elongated arm including an axially straight portion coupled to an axially curved portion having a rigid bend. The straight portion is configured to mount to a wall and the curved portion is configured to support the light fixture.
FLOOD LIGHT
A light includes a housing with a front face, a first face oriented at a first oblique angle with respect to the front face, and a second face oriented at a second oblique angle with respect to the front face. The light also includes a light source with a plurality of LEDs arranged to emit light from the front face, and a power source configured to provide power to the light source. The second oblique angle is different than the first oblique angle. The first face and the second face each define a surface configured to support the light. The first face includes two legs spaced from one another, and the second face includes two legs spaced from one another.
Support with self-locking function
A support with a self-locking function includes a first supporting rod, a second supporting rod, a connecting portion and an elastic member. The first supporting rod is provided with at least one first locking hook and two rotating portions. The rotating portion has a spiral surface and is provided with a groove. The second supporting rod is provided with at least one second locking hook and a rotating portion. The rotating portion is provided with a stopper. The elastic member is sleeved on the connecting portion. The stopper is capable of sliding along the spiral step when the second supporting rod rotates relative to the first supporting rod, and is elastically pushed by the elastic member to insert into the groove. The first locking hook and the second locking hook are fastened in a snap-fit with each other, thereby realizing self-locking of the support without requiring manual locking.
STAND LIGHT
A stand light includes a body having a main center shaft and a sleeve movably supported on the main center shaft. The stand light additionally includes a head assembly supported by the main body and including a light source, and a plurality of legs pivotally coupled to the body. The plurality of legs is movable with the sleeve from a collapsed position to an extended position, in which distal ends of the plurality of legs are moved away from the body. A first leg of the plurality of legs includes a first handle portion and a second leg of the plurality of legs includes a second handle portion. When the plurality of legs is in the collapsed position, the first handle portion and the second handle portion are positioned adjacent to each other to form a handle configured to be grasped by a user.
UNDER-HOOD LUMINAIRE
Various aspects and embodiments of under-hood luminaires are described. In one example, an under-hood luminaire includes a luminaire frame assembly. The luminaire frame assembly includes support braces and a number of cross members secured to the support braces in a spaced-apart configuration. The cross members include mounting surfaces, and light strips are secured to the mounting surfaces. The luminaire also includes a contraction hook assembly that can be used to secure the under-hood luminaire to the hood of an automobile. The luminaire can be relied upon to uniformly illuminate the engine compartment of the automobile, helping to eliminate lost productivity and frustration for mechanics.
Lighting assembly
Systems and methods are provided for lighting systems that are compact and portable, and adaptable to various lighting requirements simultaneously when opened and used in an intended use environment.
ELECTRONICALLY-CONTROLLED PORTABLE LIGHTING TOWER
A portable lighting tower includes a frame, an adjustable mast, multiple legs, a controller, and a battery pack. The adjustable mast is coupled to the frame and includes a light. The multiple legs each include an actuator operable to deploy and retract the respective leg. The controller is operatively coupled to the light and the actuators and configured to control operation of the light and the actuators. The battery pack is electrically coupled to the controller, the light, and the actuators. The light is dimmable between a maximum setting and a minimum setting, and the controller operates each of the linear actuators to deploy or retract the respective leg response to a user input.
