HEAT TRANSFER TUBE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING HEAT TRANSFER TUBE
20220244109 · 2022-08-04 · ·

A heat transfer tube includes: an outer tube; an inner tube inserted into the outer tube so as to be in close contact with the outer tube, to form a double tube with the outer tube; an insertion hole formed, between an outer circumferential surface of the outer tube and an inner circumferential surface of the inner tube, penetrating in a longitudinal direction of the outer tube and the inner tube; and an insertion tube inserted into the insertion hole The insertion tube allows an optical fiber to be inserted into the insertion tube to measure a surface temperature of the double tube.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR ASSESSING A CONDITION OF A BOILER
20220243909 · 2022-08-04 · ·

A method and system of assessing a condition of a boiler is disclosed. The assessing of the condition of the boiler establishes a baseline resistivity of a boiler waterwall for a first location of the boiler waterwall under a known temperature condition. A resistivity of the first location is measured under another temperature condition. The measured resistivity for the first location is compared to the baseline resistivity. A condition of the waterwall of the boiler is determined based on the comparison.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR MONITORING STEAM SYSTEMS
20220290857 · 2022-09-15 ·

A method and system for monitoring a steam system through remotely monitoring numerous points of a saturated steam system, wherein the method compares a steam temperature sensed at a portion of the steam system by a first sensor to a threshold subcooled temperature derived by a pressure sensed by a second sensor at or near the same portion of the steam system, wherein the method emits a warning to the first sensor when the sensed saturated temperature exceeds the derived threshold subcooled temperature.

Systems and methods for generation of electrical power in an organic Rankine cycle operation

Systems and methods for generating and a controller for controlling generation of geothermal power in an organic Rankine cycle (ORC) operation to thereby supply electrical power to one or more of in-field operational equipment, a grid power structure, and an energy storage device. In an embodiment, during hydrocarbon production, a temperature of a flow of heated fluid from a source or working fluid may be determined. If the temperature is above a vaporous phase change threshold of the working fluid, heat exchanger valves may be opened to divert flow of heated fluid to heat exchangers to facilitate heat transfer from the flow of wellhead fluid to working fluid through the heat exchangers, thereby to cause the working fluid to change from a liquid to vapor, the vapor to cause a generator to generate electrical power via rotation of an expander.

MODULAR MOBILE HEAT GENERATION UNIT FOR GENERATION OF GEOTHERMAL POWER IN ORGANIC RANKINE CYCLE OPERATIONS

Systems and methods for generating electrical power in an organic Rankine cycle (ORC) operation include one or more heat exchangers incorporated into mobile heat generation units, and which will receive a heated fluid flow from one or more heat sources, and transfer heat therefrom to a working fluid that is circulated through an ORC unit for generation of power. In embodiments, the mobile heat generation units comprise pre-packaged modules with one or more heat exchangers connected to a pump of a recirculation system, including an array of piping, such that each mobile heat generation unit can be transported to the site and installed as a substantially stand-alone module or heat generation assembly.
