A system and method enable an incineration facility to be controlled and diagnosed, and the life cycle thereof managed, using a heat exchange and design program and operation mode analysis of an operator of the facility. Operation efficiency is improved by comparing and analyzing (a) initial design values of the incineration facility, (b) measured actual valued obtained by measuring waste composition and heating values changed after construction of the facility and (c) operation values indicating actual operation adjustment values and operating result values operated by the operator and by analyzing the operator. The design values, measured actual values and operation values are compared and provided as data in graphs and tables.

A pre-startup control method for a boiler or water heater includes: providing a controller operatively coupled to a boiler or water heater unit; performing a unit shutdown operation; enabling a pre-start up mode; at about a same time or in any order, moving an air fuel valve by a controller to a non-off position with a gas supply to the water heater or boiler turned off, wherein the controller turns on a blower at an operational level, and causes an ignitor to spark; and displaying parameters which allow an affirmation of a safe and reliable ignition prior to a gas turn on of the boiler or water heater unit. A flow balancing method and a programmed auto run method are also described.

Thermal electric power generator

A thermal electric power generator includes an evaporator, an expander, an electric generator, a condenser, and a pump. A working fluid used in the thermal electric power generator is an organic working fluid. The evaporator includes a heat exchanger, a bypass channel, and a flow rate adjustment mechanism. The bypass channel allows a heat medium to bypass the heat exchanger. The flow rate adjustment mechanism adjusts a flow rate of the heat medium to be supplied to the heat exchanger and a flow rate of the heat medium to be supplied to the bypass channel.

BOILER COMBUSTOR SIDE BLOCKAGE DETECTION SYSTEM AND METHOD

Disclosed is a boiler blockage detection system and method utilizing inputs from a pressure sensing elements. A logic circuit may determine a boiler firing rate based on an input signal from the combustion controller. An indication of the exhaust pressure level and an indication of the inlet pressure level are received. A pressure differential between the exhaust pressure level and the inlet pressure level is determined. Alternatively, a pressure differential transmitter may determine the pressure differential. The determined pressure differential is compared to a predetermined pressure level differential threshold. The predetermined pressure level differential threshold is dependent on the determined firing rate. Based on a result of the comparison of the determined pressure differential to the predetermined pressure level differential threshold, it may be determined that there is a blockage of an intake or an exhaust of the boiler. In response to the blockage determination, an interrupt signal is output.
