Described herein are implements and applicators for placement of fluid applications with respect to agricultural plants of agricultural fields. In one embodiment, a fluid applicator for applying fluids to plants in rows in a field includes a frame, a coulter connected to the frame and disposed to open a trench between the rows of plants, and at least one application member connected to the frame or to the coulter and disposed to apply fluid to a rhizosphere of the plants.
Application units for placement of fluid applications to agricultural plants of a field
Application units provide placement of fluid applications with respect to agricultural plants of agricultural fields. In one embodiment, an application unit includes a frame to be positioned in operation between two rows of plants and a plurality of flexible members coupled to the frame in operation such that the plurality of flexible members guide a lateral position of the frame to be approximately equidistant from the two rows of plants based upon whether at least one flexible member of the plurality of flexible members contacts one or more plants of the two rows of plants. The plurality of flexible members include a plurality of fluid outlets for spraying crop input in close proximity to the rows of plants.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR REDUCING DUST DEVELOPMENT IN PRECISION DRILL SOWING
The present invention relates to a precision seed drill (1) for dust free discharge of plant propagation materials onto an underlying agricultural surface for seed, the drill comprising: a. a reservoir container (10) for the plant propagation material, b. a separating device (20) which is configured to separate plant propagation material (K) fed from the reservoir container (10), and to output them individually, and c. an application assembly (30) configured to selectively apply an aliquot of a dressing composition to the separated plant propagation materials (K) directly before it is injected into the soil.
PRESSURE-BASED FLOW METER FOR A SPRAY NOZZLE
A spray nozzle for an agricultural sprayer includes a first actively controlled valve configured to control flow through the spray nozzle. A first pressure sensor is disposed upstream of the valve and a second pressure sensor is disposed downstream of the valve. The position of a valve member of the valve can be sensed, and a size of a restrictive orifice defined by the valve can be determined based on the sensed position of the valve member. A controller is configured to determine a flow rate through the valve based on a difference between a first pressure reading from the first pressure sensor and a second pressure reading from the second pressure sensor.
SYSTEM FOR TREATING PLANTS FOR USE IN AGRICULTURE
A system for treating plants for use in agriculture, comprising a spray boom provided with a plurality of spray nozzles supplied by a spray control device, the apparatus comprising a set of cameras capable of capturing images of a crop area, a digital processing device capable of analyzing the images captured by the camera, identifying plants to be treated and sending commands to the spray control device with a view to selectively spraying a product on plants to be treated, the apparatus also comprising an arrangement for lighting the crop area captured by the cameras.
According to the invention, the lighting arrangement comprises a plurality of projectors distributed along the boom and having fields of illumination such that each point of a scene captured by a camera receives light from at least two projectors in at least two different orientations in a plane passing through the point and the projectors in question.
Agricultural sprayer control system and method
A controller for an agricultural sprayer machine is configured to receive for each of a plurality of nozzle sets a respective upper pressure limit, a nozzle reference flow, and a nozzle reference pressure. For each one of the plurality of nozzle sets, a speed setpoint is calculated based upon the application rate setpoint, the nozzle reference flow, the nozzle reference pressure, and the product pressure setpoint.
SOWING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR TREATING SEEDS DURING PLANTING
The present invention relates to a sowing device for discharging and treating discharched plant propagation materials during their fall onto an underlying agricultural surface (B), having a reservoir container (10) for the plant materials, having a separating device (20) which is configured to separate plant materials (K) fed from the reservoir container and to output them individually, and having an application device (30) to apply a compound onto the separated plant materials from a cartridge assembly comprising one or more cartridges that each are separate from the reservoir container in the sowing device, wherein the application device is configured to apply the dressing from the one or more cartridges to the separated plant materials after they leave the separating device while the separated plant materials fall freely on toward the underlying agricultural surface wherein the device and the one or more cartridges are configured to allow repeated removal from the device, and optionally, refilling with the dressing composition and replacing in the device, with minimal operator interaction.
Agricultural sprayer system and method
An agricultural vehicle includes a frame, a first reservoir coupled to the frame with the first reservoir configured to hold a solvent, a second reservoir coupled to the frame with the second reservoir configured to hold a first solute, and a third reservoir coupled to the frame with the third reservoir configured to hold a second solute different than the first solute. The agricultural vehicle also includes a spray boom coupled to the frame. The spray boom includes a first spray nozzle and a second spray nozzle. The first spray nozzle is independently operable relative to the second spray nozzle such that the first spray nozzle is configured to dispense a first solution comprising the solvent and the first solute onto an agricultural surface and the second spray nozzle is configured to dispense a second solution comprising the solvent and the second solute onto the agricultural surface.
WORKING MACHINE
A working machine includes a machine body, a linkage capable of linking a working device including a spreader to the machine body, an automatic travel controller to cause the machine body to perform automatic travel according to a planned travel route, a range acquirer to acquire a spreading work range that is a range where spreading work is done by the spreader in a front-rear direction thereof, and a work setter to set a work start position and a work end position for the spreader so that the work start position and the work end position are at different positions according to the spreading work range acquired by the range acquirer.
AUTOMATED LOADING FOR AN AGRICULTURAL MACHINE
An intelligent, automated system for loading agricultural product application equipment is provided in which a control system can determine a necessary amount of product for completing a field operation and can automatically couple with a tendering system to receive such product at an optimal time and location. The control system can determine a current amount of product, a projected amount of product necessary to complete a field operation and a refill amount of product from the current amount and the projected amount, then transmit the refill amount to the tender. The control system can further determine whether a position of the equipment relative to the tender is within a threshold, and whether an intake coupler of the equipment is connected to a supply coupler of the tender, and can control valve(s) to open and close channel(s) for loading fluid into the storage tank.
