SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR TREATING INDIVIDUAL SEEDS WITH LIQUID CROP INPUTS DURING THE PLANTING PROCESS

A system for dispensing liquid agricultural products with seed includes an agricultural product supply system configured to dispense agricultural products. The system includes a seed tube for introducing seed. A tube-mounted nozzle is positioned on the seed tube for introducing liquid agricultural product into the seed tube. A gaseous fluid line is in fluid connection to a source of gaseous fluid. A gaseous fluid bubble generation assembly is in fluid communication with the gaseous fluid line. The gaseous fluid bubble generation assembly is configured to generate bubbles. The gaseous fluid bubble generation assembly is arranged and constructed so that when the gaseous fluid from the gaseous fluid line is passed therethrough bubbles are generated and agglomerated when the gaseous fluid encounters the liquid agricultural product within the seed tube.

Method and System for Providing Plants with Water Comprising a High Nitrate Content

The present invention relates to a method for producing water having a stable high nitrate content, an organic fertilizer comprising the water having a stable high nitrate content thus produced, and use of the water having a stable high nitrate content in a method for the organic cultivating of a plant in a substrate. The present invention further relates to a continuous flow system for supplying plants with the water having a stable high nitrate content.

Systems and devices for controlling and monitoring liquid applications of agricultural fields

Described herein are systems and devices for controlling and monitoring liquid applications of agricultural fields. In one embodiment, a flow device for controlling flow during an agricultural operation includes an offset ball valve having multiple openings that rotate in position to control flow of a liquid through the offset ball valve to an outlet passage. The flow device also includes a first passage that provides a first flow path from an inlet to at least one opening of the offset ball valve and second passage that provides a second flow path from the inlet to at least one opening of the offset ball valve.

Automated zero waste systems and methods

Systems and methods for employment in a Zero Waste (ZW) treatment system are disclosed. The ZW treatment system includes a ZW process employing the following individual processes: a separation and extraction process, a blend-heat process, a hydrolysis and acidification process, first-in, first-out (FIFO) anaerobic digestion process, an aerobic boost-blend process, and smart delivery process. A separation and extraction system, a blend-heat system, hydrolysis and acidification system, and a FIFO system performing the ZW treatment process may include a variety of tanks, where each tank may be placed in an enclosure comprising a modular container which, in turn, comprises a modular container system designed for mobility and transportable to remote sites as part of the smart delivery process.

A system for monitoring agricultural sprayer operation includes a boom and a nozzle mounted on the boom, with the nozzle configured to dispense a fan of an agricultural fluid as the agricultural sprayer travels across a field. Additionally, the system includes an imaging device configured to capture image data depicting the dispensed fan of the agricultural fluid and a controller communicatively coupled to the imaging device. The controller is, in turn, configured to analyze the captured image data to determine a parameter associated with a shape of the dispensed spray fan. Moreover, the controller is configured to compare the determined parameter to a predetermined parameter range. Furthermore, the controller is configured to; and initiate a control action when the determined parameter falls outside of a predetermined parameter range.

Supply tube assembly for monitoring a directed stream measuring the liquid of an agricultural product application rate through a supply tube

A supply tube assembly for measuring a liquid agricultural product application rate. An upstream portion of a supply tube has an upstream portion outlet end. A downstream portion has a downstream portion inlet end. The sensor body assembly includes a sensor body, a first sensing plate, and a second sensing plate. The sensor body has a sensor inlet end positioned to receive an inlet flow of the liquid agricultural product from the upstream portion and a sensor outlet end positioned to receive an outlet flow of the liquid agricultural product. The sensor body is an enclosure having a cross sectional area larger than the cross sectional area of the upstream portion of the supply tube and the downstream portion of the supply tube. Electronic components are configured to measure the liquid agricultural product application rate between the first sensing plate and the second sensing plate.

Tagged container tracking

A system and method that automatically monitors product use, such as the type and amount of agricultural and/or horticultural product stored in and dispensed from a cartridge over time and/or by geographic location. Monitored data are stored in memory such as a tag on the cartridge and may be transmitted to a server for storage, aggregation, and analysis. The cartridge may be authenticated before being authorized for use for the benefit of a current user in dispensing the product. The cartridge may be refilled after confirmation of authorization codes on the cartridge and refilling equipment tags. The cartridge may be calibrated automatically based on the bulk density or other parameter of the product in the cartridge. Data may be aggregated from a plurality of cartridges automatically. As-applied data from individual cartridges may be used to verify, independent of operator input, treated area coverage and product application rate.
