A system that incorporates teachings of the present disclosure may include, for example, an accessory having a plurality of tactile-sensitive buttons, a plurality of light sources, wherein each light source emits a controllable spectrum of light through a corresponding one of the plurality of tactile-sensitive buttons, and a controller coupled to the plurality of tactile-sensitive buttons, and the plurality of light sources. The controller can be operable to detect tactile contact of each of the plurality of tactile-sensitive buttons, receive status information associated with a video game, and adjust the spectrum of light emitted by at least a portion of the plurality of light sources according to the status information to indicate one or more aspects of the video game. A game controller for controlling electronic games comprising a controller chassis and an actuator system including: an actuator body pivotally mounted to the controller chassis; a strike plate coupled to the actuator body; a trigger adjustment system having an arm; and an actuator adjustment control screw received in a screw thread disposed within said arm. A portion of the actuator adjustment control screw may engage with a portion of the strike plate and said portion of the actuator adjustment control screw creates an end stop to limit movement of the actuator body.

A device for online gaming includes an actuation component and a controller communicatively coupled to a computer system. The controller is configured to perform operations including detecting an actuation of the actuation component, wherein the actuation component is associated with performing of an action in a video game executed by the computer system. Responsive to detecting the actuation, an instruction is provided to the computer system to perform the action, wherein, based on a current value of a timer, the computer system restricts the action from being performed. The timer, having been previously initiated based on a prior actuation of the actuation component, relates to a cooldown period during which the action cannot be repeated after the action is performed. Responsive to receiving a command from the computer system, a tactile effect is generated as an indication to a user that the action can be repeated.

A system that incorporates the subject disclosure may include, for example, a button including a fixed force magnet coupled to a first housing assembly component serving as a top portion of the button, a variable force magnet coupled to a second housing assembly serving as a bottom portion of the button, and a spring coupled to the fixed force magnetic and the variable force magnet for repelling the fixed force magnet from the variable force magnet according to a spring constant of the spring. Mobile and adaptable fitness system
A mobile and adaptable fitness system allows a fitness device to be used to control an application running on a host device. The system includes one or more controllers, a motion sensing device, and a host device. The hand controllers may be mounted on the handlebars of the fitness device or held in a user's hands and include buttons that the user can press. The motion sensing device may be mounted on the user or on a moving part of the fitness device and contains sensors that capture motion performed by the user. The host device receives input data from the hand controllers and the motion sensing device and generates an activity vector representing the intensity at which the user performs a fitness activity. Based on the activity vector, the host device controls an object in an application, such as a character, based on the input data.

A system that incorporates the subject disclosure may include, for example, a method that includes identifying a plurality of devices associated with a computing device, identifying status information from each device of the plurality of devices, and identifying presentation features for each device of the plurality of devices. The method further includes receiving presentation information indicating a setting to present first status information from a first device of the plurality of devices via a selected device of the plurality of devices, wherein the first status is presented on the selected device by a selected presentation feature of the selected device. GAME CONTROLLER WITH ADJUSTABLE TRIGGER THROW LENGTH
A game controller having a trigger button that has a throw length that can be adjusted without opening the controller, i.e., from outside the game controller, such as by using a tool. The trigger button has a rotatable member that is user accessible. The rotatable member is in threaded engagement with a translatable member that is disposed within the game controller. User rotation of the rotatable member causes the translatable member to translate within the trigger button, thereby adjusting the throw length of the trigger button.

A hand operated game controller for controlling a game console. Multiple push buttons are arranged on the surface of the game controller. The push buttons are placed in an arrangement that approximately matches the natural position of the fingers of the user's hands. A system that incorporates teachings of the present disclosure may include, for example, a method for detecting that a gaming system has presented a first of a plurality of gaming venue states of a game, presenting a first of a plurality of screen shots at a display responsive to detecting the first gaming venue state, detecting that the gaming system has transitioned to a presentation of a second of the plurality of venue states, and presenting a second of the plurality of screen shots at the display responsive to detecting the second gaming venue state. Computer system and gaming mouse
There is provided a computer system including a mouse device and a host. The mouse device receives a command script from the host to determine output data to be transmitted to the host. The output data includes, for example, at least one pressed key signal and/or a movement signal.
