Oxy-combustion process with modular boiler design
A modular boiler system for implementing fuel combustion is provided. The system includes a first boiler and a second boiler of a plurality of boilers, an oxygen input unit, a fuel input unit, a recycled flue gas input unit, and a flue gas separator. The first boiler receives oxygen from the oxygen input unit, fuel from the fuel input unit, and recycled flue gas from the recycled flue gas input unit. The first boiler outputs intra-system flue gas. The flue gas separator separates the intra-system flue gas into a first and second flue gas stream, transfers the first flue gas stream to the second boiler, and transfers the second flue gas stream to a gas cleaning system. The second boiler receives oxygen from the oxygen input unit, fuel from the fuel input unit, and the first flue gas stream from the flue gas separator.

The invention concerns a method for a part load CO reduction operation and a low-CO emissions operation of a gas turbine with sequential combustion. The gas turbine essentially includes at least one compressor, a first combustor which is connected downstream to the compressor. The hot gases of the first combustor are admitted at least to an intermediate turbine or directly or indirectly to a second combustor. The hot gases of the second combustor are admitted to a further turbine or directly or indirectly to an energy recovery. At least one combustor runs under a caloric combustion path having a can-architecture, and wherein the air ratio () of the combustion at least of the second combustor is kept below a maximum air ratio (.sub.max).
Method and equipment for combustion of ammonia
In a method and system for the combustion of ammonia, wherein a first combustion chamber receives ammonia and hydrogen in controlled proportions, and an oxygen-containing gas such as air. Combustion of the ammonia and hydrogen produces nitrogen oxides among other combustion products. A second combustion chamber receives the nitrogen oxides along with further ammonia and hydrogen in further controlled proportions along with further oxygen-containing gas such as air. The nitrogen oxides are combusted into nitrogen and water.
BURNER SYSTEM INCLUDING A DISTAL FLAME HOLDER AND A NON-REACTIVE FLUID SOURCE
A burner includes a distal flame holder, first and second fuel nozzles, a fuel and oxidant source, and a mixing tube disposed upstream from the distal flame holder. Fuel emitted from the first fuel nozzle mixes with oxidant from the oxidant source to form a fuel and oxidant mixture to support combustion in the distal flame holder. A non-reactive fluid source such as recirculated flue gas provides a non-reactive fluid for dilution of the fuel and oxidant mixture to prevent flashback.
BOILER AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING BOILER
An object of the present disclosure is to appropriately reduce NOx and CO. A boiler includes: a can body having water pipe; a burner for supplying primary fuel and air into the can body; a secondary fuel supply unit for supplying secondary fuel into the can body downstream of the burner in a flow direction of combustion gas; a cooling line for introducing a cooling fluid for reducing temperature of a predetermined space in the can body downstream of the burner in the flow direction of the combustion gas; a flow rate adjusting unit capable of adjusting a flow rate of the cooling fluid introduced into the can body from the cooling line; and a control unit for controlling the flow rate adjusting unit to control the flow rate of the cooling fluid such that the temperature of the predetermined space is 800 C. or more and 1200 C. or less.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR HEATING OBJECT TO BE HEATED
One object of the present invention is to provide a method and a device for heating an object to be heated which can uniformly heat the object to be heated in a shorter time than in the prior art, the amount of carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxides (NOx), and the like generated can be significantly reduced, and the object to be heated can be dried and heated efficiently and in an environmentally friendly manner, and the present invention provides a method for heating an object to be heated by a flame which is produced by supplying a fuel fluid and a combustion supporting gas to a burner as a heat source, wherein a temperature rising rate is increased by gradually increasing an oxygen concentration in the combustion supporting gas supplied to the burner and a device for heating an object to be heated including a burner for heating the object to be heated, a flow rate control unit for controlling a flow rate of a fuel fluid and a combustion supporting gas, and a calculation unit for transmitting combustion information of the burner to the flow rate control unit, and the flow rate control unit increases a temperature rising rate of the object to be heated by increasing the oxygen concentration in the combustion supporting gas supplied to the burner.
Low NOx burner with exhaust gas recycle and partial premix
The pre-mix burner assembly includes a jet pump comprising a suction chamber, a flue gas inlet, and a combustion air tube with a combustion air nozzle. The combustion air inlet includes a combustion air tube with a tapered nozzle, and it is connected to a combustion air fan. The flue gas inlet is connected to the suction chamber and the combustion air fan. The suction chamber surrounds the combustion air tube, and it has a jet pump nozzle with a discharge. The assembly includes a fuel gas inlet connected to the combustion air tube. The combustion air and fuel gas mixture exits the combustion air nozzle creating a negative pressure in the suction chamber and drawing flue gas into the suction chamber. The assembly includes a mixing tube positioned downstream of the jet pump discharge, and a burner block connected to an outlet of the mixing tube.
