Controlling a user interface
According to a first aspect, there is provided a computer device having a user interface and a processor. The user interface is configured to provide a gameboard comprising tiles supporting game objects. A pre-defined plurality of the tiles constitutes a segment of the gameboard supporting a group of game objects. The user interface is configured to detect user input when a user engages with a user activatable game element. The processor is configured to receive a detected user input, detect a match game condition of a plurality of adjacent game elements having matching characteristics, and, if the match condition is detected, remove the plurality of game elements and generate new game elements to replenish the gameboard. The processor is further configured to detect a segment condition associated with the segment, and, if detected, to replace the group of game objects of the segment with a replacement group of game objects.
Inserting a graphical element cluster in a tiled library user interface
Techniques are described for presenting selectable tiles on a user interface. In an example, the techniques include providing a graphical user interface, including an immediate selection area and a full selection area, for user interface (UI) elements, some being selectable to launch or resume a corresponding computer application. The techniques also include determining a library of computer applications that a user executed or obtained. The techniques also include selecting a first subset of the library of computer applications a number of items in the first subset being limited. The techniques also include rendering UI elements of the first subset on the graphical user interface in the immediate selection area. The techniques also include identifying a second subset of items from the library. The techniques also include displaying UI elements of the library in the full selection area of the graphical user interface.

According to at least one embodiment, a method for controlling performance of a digital character depicted at a display device includes: determining a presence of a person located in a physical environment; and in response to determining the presence of the person, facilitating control of the performance of the digital character depicted at the display device by a human operator, by an artificial intelligence (AI) game-engine, or by a combination thereof.
Method and apparatus for adapting to gaming venue states
A system that incorporates teachings of the present disclosure may include, for example, a method for detecting that a gaming system has presented a first of a plurality of gaming venue states of a game, presenting a first of a plurality of screen shots at a display responsive to detecting the first gaming venue state, detecting that the gaming system has transitioned to a presentation of a second of the plurality of venue states, and presenting a second of the plurality of screen shots at the display responsive to detecting the second gaming venue state. This application discloses an information interaction method and apparatus, a storage medium, and an electronic apparatus. The method includes obtaining a first target operation instruction in a VR scenario; selecting and displaying a first virtual operation panel corresponding to the first target operation instruction from a plurality of virtual operation panels in the VR scenario, wherein the plurality of virtual operation panels are displayed mutually independently, and are respectively configured to display different interactive objects. The method may further include obtaining an interactive operation instruction generated by an interactive operation performed by an interactive device on a target interactive object displayed in the first virtual operation panel, the interactive device being associated with the VR scenario; and in response executing a target event corresponding to the target interactive object in the VR scenario. These solutions resolve the technical problem of low information interaction flexibility in the related technology.

There is provided a computer system including a mouse device and a host. The mouse device receives a command script from the host to determine output data to be transmitted to the host. The output data includes, for example, at least one pressed key signal and/or a movement signal. The command script is previously recorded in the host or is determined according to raw data detected by the mouse device. The present disclosure further provides a gaming mouse.

An example game controller is removably attachable to a main unit. The game controller includes a controller-side slide member. The controller-side slide member protrudes from a first surface of the game controller and is configured to slidably engage with the main unit-side slide member in a slide direction. The controller-side slide member has a first end and a second end in the slide direction, and the game controller is configured to be attached to the main unit by inserting the controller-side slide member into the main unit-side slide member. The controller-side slide member includes a protruding portion and at least one terminal. The protruding portion protrudes from the first end side of the controller-side slide member in the slide direction and has a facing surface that faces the first surface of the game controller. The at least one terminal is between the facing surface and the first surface.

The sound recognition portion, at an input scene, recognizes sound that is input as the sound input information. The conformity determination portion determines a degree of conformity between (a) the sound input information that is recognized and (b) reference information. The action controller changes an action effect according to the degree of conformity.
