A cutting unit is movably integrated into the handle and the cutting unit is actuatable into a cutting condition to cut the wick of the candle to a desired length.

Wax compositions are provided with improved properties for candles and candle jars. The candle wax composition includes a major amount of a foots oil and minor amount of a 600N slack wax. In one form, the foots oil is a 150N foots oil that is included in the composition at from 70 to 80 weight % of the composition and the 600N slack wax is included in the composition at from 20 to 30 wt % of the composition. The candle wax composition provides substantially no oil bleed and a smooth surface appearance with improved burning properties in terms of soot production, wax consumption, melt pool depth and flame height.

The hook includes a first stem, a second stem, and a bight portion interconnecting the first stem and the second stem. The first stem and the second stem each extend downwardly from opposite ends of the bight portion which is removably seated on the rim of the container. The saddle includes a pair of diverging rear legs extending downwardly from an end of the second stem opposite the bight portion, a pair of elements extending outwardly from respective ends of the pair of rear legs opposite the second stem, and a pair of forward legs extending upwardly from respective ends of the pair of elements opposite the pair of rear legs. A case, which removably stores an object, is removably seated within the saddle of the support.

The electric unit is operable to receive remote commands from a user device for activating the ignition device and the extinguishing device upon demand. The extinguishing operation if performed gradually.

The handle is comprised of a first portion having a hand grip that is ergonomically shaped for a user to grasp, and a second portion having the tubular extension and a cutter supported longitudinally therefrom. The tubular extension is generally a hollow body having a first end and a second end. The first end is attached to a portion of the handle, whereby the central bore of the tubular extension is accessible from the top of the handle. The second end of the tubular extension supports a cutter and is adapted to be inserted longitudinally into the top wax surface of the candle with the central bore positioned over the wick.
