A candle wick extractor, for use with a candle having a candle wick that terminates at, proximate to, or below the top surface of a candle's wax, comprised of a rigid ergonomic handle and a tubular extension having a radial cutter on the distal end thereof. The handle is comprised of a first portion having a hand grip that is ergonomically shaped for a user to grasp, and a second portion having the tubular extension and a cutter supported longitudinally therefrom. The tubular extension is generally a hollow body having a first end and a second end. The first end is attached to a portion of the handle, whereby the central bore of the tubular extension is accessible from the top of the handle. The second end of the tubular extension supports a cutter and is adapted to be inserted longitudinally into the top wax surface of the candle with the central bore positioned over the wick.

A Smart Candle Platform may be configured to produce candle light using a natural wax candle as its fuel source or any other fuel source capable of producing light, including liquid fuels if so configured. A protective device and a candle wick burning lamp assembly are provided, wherein the candle wick burning lamp includes a container and a candle wick structure. The candle wick structure includes a candle wick body and a support base fixed with one end of the candle wick body. The support base is placed at a bottom of the container. The bottom of the container is in a circular structure. The protective device includes a central portion and a branch portion. The branch portion is connected to the central portion. A length of the branch portion is 0.7 to 1 time a radius of the circular structure. At least two branch portions are arranged. At least one of the at least two branch portions and/or the central portion are provided with a through hole. The through hole allows the candle wick body to pass through.

A protective device and a candle wick burning lamp assembly are provided, wherein the candle wick burning lamp includes a container and a candle wick structure. The candle wick structure includes a candle wick body and a support base fixed with one end of the candle wick body. The support base is placed at a bottom of the container. The bottom of the container is in a circular structure. The protective device includes a central portion and a branch portion. The branch portion is connected to the central portion. A length of the branch portion is 0.7 to 1 time a radius of the circular structure. At least two branch portions are arranged. At least one of the at least two branch portions and/or the central portion are provided with a through hole. The through hole allows the candle wick body to pass through.

Wax compositions are provided with improved properties for candles and candle jars. The candle wax composition includes a major amount of a foots oil and minor amount of a 600N slack wax. In one form, the foots oil is a 150N foots oil that is included in the composition at from 70 to 80 weight % of the composition and the 600N slack wax is included in the composition at from 20 to 30 wt % of the composition. The candle wax composition provides substantially no oil bleed and a smooth surface appearance with improved burning properties in terms of soot production, wax consumption, melt pool depth and flame height.

Wax compositions are provided with improved properties for candles and candle jars. The candle wax composition includes a major amount of a foots oil and minor amount of a 600N slack wax. In one form, the foots oil is a 150N foots oil that is included in the composition at from 70 to 80 weight % of the composition and the 600N slack wax is included in the composition at from 20 to 30 wt % of the composition. The candle wax composition provides substantially no oil bleed and a smooth surface appearance with improved burning properties in terms of soot production, wax consumption, melt pool depth and flame height.

An example Smart Candle Platform is configured to includes a candle fixture that comprises an outer shell having an opening, a mid-frame, and a base, and a fuel bottle configured to hold a fuel material and is removably coupled to the candle fixture. The fuel bottle is positioned at least partially within a hollow interior of the mid-frame of the candle fixture and accommodated by the base. The fuel bottle further comprises a wick that extends through an opening of the outer shell, and the candle fixture includes an ignitor configured to ignite the fuel material via the wick to produce a living flame. The candle fixture further includes an inner cover having one or more reinforcement ribs configured to provide structural support for the one or more ignitors.

An example Smart Candle Platform is configured to includes a candle fixture that comprises an outer shell having an opening, a mid-frame, and a base, and a fuel bottle configured to hold a fuel material and is removably coupled to the candle fixture. An assembly for use with a cake is provided. The assembly includes a plurality of candles and a plurality of candle holders. Each individually sized candle holder is configured for receiving one candle of the plurality of candles. A plurality of links are part of the assembly, and a link connects adjacent candle holders. The link is flexible to allow selective placement of each of the candle holders. A wick connector extends between wicks of adjacent candles. Lighting of the wick connector allows for the lit wick connector to extend to all of the plurality of candles to light the candles.
