ANTI-ROTATION FEATURE FOR A BURNER
A gas burner for a cooktop includes a spreader extending along a major axis to define an elongated shape. The spreader further defines an underside and includes a first projection and a second projection extending away from the underside. An orifice holder includes a body and a first lobe and a second lobe extending radially outward from the body. The first and second projections are opposingly adjacent to at least one of the first and second lobes. The orifice holder is mutually engageable with the spreader, with the first and second projections opposingly adjacent with at least one of the first and second lobes.
Gas burner
A burner unit includes first and second burner assemblies supplied with a gas mixture via first and second valves, respectively. A first valve control assembly controls the first and second valves between open and closed positions. Third and fourth burner assemblies of the burner unit are supplied with a gas mixture via third and fourth valves, respectively. A second valve control assembly controls the third and fourth valves between open and closed positions. The first and second valve control assemblies are separate assemblies that are configured to cooperate to simultaneously provide a gas mixture to the first, second, third and fourth burner assemblies in respective high power settings of the first and second valve control assemblies.
Home cooking appliance having a pedestal burner
A home cooking appliance includes a cooktop surface and a gas pedestal burner on the cooktop surface. The gas pedestal burner includes a burner portion having a sidewall, a lower surface facing the cooktop surface, a plurality of burner ports in the sidewall, and a base portion under the burner portion. The base portion elevates the burner portion in a vertical direction above the cooktop surface and has a lower mounting surface disposed on the cooktop surface. An area of a footprint of the lower mounting surface of the base portion is less than an area of a footprint of the lower surface of the burner portion.
Pedestal for a burner of a household appliance
A gas burner of a household cooking appliance is provided. The gas burner includes a burner portion, and a pedestal portion under the burner portion for elevating the burner portion above a cooktop surface of the household cooking appliance. The pedestal portion includes a base portion for mounting with the cooktop surface of the household cooking appliance, and an upper portion that interposes the base portion and the burner portion, and interfaces with the burner portion. A perimeter of the base portion has no mathematical correlation to one of a perimeter of the burner portion and a perimeter of the upper portion.

Burner
A burner with a plurality of oxidant gas pipes distributed throughout the cross section of the burner and process gas in plug flow provides even mixing of the oxidant and the process gas.
Gas burner assembly for a cooking hob
A gas burner assembly for a cooking hob, in particular for a domestic cooking hob, includes at least two burner bases arranged side-by-side-and a burner crown element arranged or arrangeable above the burner bases. At least one burner cap is arranged or arrangeable above the burner crown element. The burner bases are adjustable separately. The burner crown element includes a bottom plate subdivided into at least two portions arranged side-by-side. Each portion of the bottom plate is arranged or arrangeable above one of the burner bases. The burner crown element includes at least two side walls. Each side wall encloses one of the portions of the bottom plate. The burner crown element includes flame ports formed in the side walls. The flame ports are arranged in those sections of the side walls arranged opposite to the adjacent portion or portions of the bottom plate.
GAS BURNER ASSEMBLY FOR A GAS COOKING APPLIANCE
The present invention relates to a gas burner assembly (10) for a gas cooking appliance, in particular for a gas cooking hob. The gas burner assembly (10) comprises an upper burner part (12) and a lower burner part (14), wherein the upper burner part (12) is arranged above the lower burner part (14). The upper burner part (12) includes a central portion and a number of peripheral portions, wherein the peripheral portions extend radially and horizontally from the central portion. An impingement cone (40) is formed at a bottom side of the central portion of the upper burner part (12) and a gas injector (20) is arranged below the impingement cone (40) and directed to said impingement cone (40), so that a gas jet from the gas injector (20) impinges at the impingement cone (40) and said gas jet with dragged atmospheric air is directed to the peripheral portions. A Venturi tube (44) extends between the central portion and the peripheral portions in each case, so that a mixture of gas and air is accelerated to the peripheral portions. A plurality of flame ports (36, 38) is arranged at the circumference of the peripheral portions. Further, the present invention relates to a gas cooking appliance, in particular a gas cooking hob, including at least one gas burner assembly (10).
