System and method for building ornamental flame displays

A system for creating a flow of gas for use in creating relatively low-temperature ornamental flame uses a support connector with a vertical inlet adapted for accepting a flow of gas and a pair of generally horizontal outlets. Nipples are attached to the support connector. The nipples carry gas from the support connector to jets that mix the gas with air and deliver the mixture to be burned. The nipples include at least one landing of integral, one-piece construction with each of the nipples. The landings are adapted for accepting the mating surface of the wrench. The nipples include a plurality of apertures for accepting gas jets that include a side aperture for creating a gas-air mixture. The attachment of the nipples is achieved with a mating wrench, which allows assembly of the system to proper torque settings without marring of the surfaces of the system.

SURFACE COMBUSTION BURNER, COMPOSITE BURNER, AND IGNITION DEVICE FOR SINTERING MACHINE

Provided is a surface combustion burner which solves the passage blocking in a combustion part caused by dust, and enables stable combustion for a long term. The surface combustion burner comprises: a nozzle configured to discharge fuel gas and air for combustion; and a laminate, provided on a tip of the nozzle, in which a plurality of mesh plates is laminated, wherein the laminate includes a portion having an offset arrangement between at least any adjacent ones of the mesh plates.

FLAME BURNER

A decorative-flame burner includes a manifold elongated along an axis and a plurality of nipples supported by the manifold. A jet is supported by and protrudes outwardly from each nipple. Each nipple is elongated transverse to the axis from a first end of the nipple to a second end of the nipple. Each nipple has threads at the first end of the nipple and the manifold includes threaded holes spaced from each other along the axis and threadedly engaged with the threads on the first ends of the nipples.

A brass burner system includes a channel system having a central connection with a first extended element, a second extended element, a third extended element, and a fourth extended element; gas jets engaged with the channel system via a connections, each jet having a top jet portion with an opening; a body portion with a channel connecting to the opening; and a tapered end to engage with one of the connections; the tapered end is to seal within the connection; the brass burner is to produce a decorative flame via the gas jets; and the channel system is to allow gas flow to the gas jets.

LOW NOx BURNER AND FLOW MOMENTUM ENHANCING DEVICE

A flow momentum enhancing device having an airfoil shape is used in a new or refurbished burner to increase the momentum of the burner combustion air stream and create a reduced pressure region which pulls inert products of combustion into the combustion process. The inert products of combustion mix with the burner air and/or fuel streams to lower the peak flame temperature of the burner and provide reduced NO.sub.x production.

Injector fittings

An injector includes a feed arm extending from an inlet fitting to a nozzle body opposite the inlet fitting. The nozzle body includes a spray outlet in fluid communication with the inlet fitting for issuing a spray of fluid supplied at the inlet fitting. The inlet fitting of the feed arm includes a receptacle therein for receiving a fluid supply manifold inside the inlet fitting of the feed arm.

GAS TAP FOR A GAS BURNER, AND A GAS COOKING APPLIANCE INCORPORATING SAID GAS TAP

A gas tap for a gas burner that includes a gas inlet conduit for the entry of gas at a nominal pressure, at least one outlet conduit suitable for conducting gas to the burner through an outlet hole, and a rotating regulating element for regulating the incoming gas flow from the inlet conduit to the outlet conduit. The outlet conduit conducting a variable flow rate gas flow to the outlet hole when the regulating element rotates along an angular path. The gas tap also includes at least one constant flow outlet conduit for conducting a minimum constant flow rate gas flow (Qc) at nominal pressure (Pn) to the burner through a constant flow outlet hole when the regulating element rotates along the angular path.

A gas burner includes a burner pipe, in which gas is supplied and which is provided with a row of linearly arranged perforations that allow the gas through to a burner chamber, and an ignition mechanism to ignite the gas electrically. The burner pipe is provided on the inside with a gas distribution pipe in order to evenly distribute the gas supply over the entire row of perforations, and the burner chamber is surrounded by a premounted air chamber, which is connected to the burner chamber by means of air slots, whereby the air slots are oblique with respect to the longitudinal axis of the burner pipe at an angle between 10 and 80, and whereby the air supply through the air slots is controlled by a device that blows in or draws in air through the premounted air chamber.

A COOKER

The present invention relates to a cooker such as a barbeque. The cooker includes a support for supporting a cooking member such as a hotplate or grill. A burner is provided for being sheltered by the support and for burning gas to form flames. The burner is preferably sheltered by the support to impede dripping grease or fat, from the cooking member, from accumulating on the burners during cooking to thereby reduce cleaning when compared with known barbeques.
