System and method for building ornamental flame displays
A system for creating a flow of gas for use in creating relatively low-temperature ornamental flame uses a support connector with a vertical inlet adapted for accepting a flow of gas and a pair of generally horizontal outlets. Nipples are attached to the support connector. The nipples carry gas from the support connector to jets that mix the gas with air and deliver the mixture to be burned. The nipples include at least one landing of integral, one-piece construction with each of the nipples. The landings are adapted for accepting the mating surface of the wrench. The nipples include a plurality of apertures for accepting gas jets that include a side aperture for creating a gas-air mixture. The attachment of the nipples is achieved with a mating wrench, which allows assembly of the system to proper torque settings without marring of the surfaces of the system.
Duel-Fuel Fireplace Apparatus
A duel-fuel fireplace apparatus is described. In one example, an apparatus includes an enclosure having a door disposed thereon and a wood burning compartment disposed within the enclosure. The wood burning compartment has an insulated housing configured to support temperatures associated with burning of wood within the wood burning compartment. A gas burning compartment is also disposed within the enclosure and has a gas burner disposed therein. A mechanism including a motor is configured to cause movement between a first mode in which the wood burning compartment is viewable through the door and a second mode in which the gas burning compartment is viewable through the door.
System and method for building ornamental flame displays
A modular burner system includes a nipple elongated along an axis and a plurality of jets connected to the nipple. The jets are spaced from each other along the axis. Each jet connected to the nipple has a jet axis and is elongated from the nipple along the jet axis. Each jet connected to the nipple has an exit on the jet axis spaced from the nipple to release fuel to fuel a flame at the exit. The jet axis of at least one of the jets connected to the nipple is at a first angle relative to the axis and the jet axis of at least one of the jets connected to the nipple is at a second angle relative to the axis different than the first angle.
MOVABLY INSTALLED EJECTOR PIPE FOR GAS FIREPLACE
Disclosed in the present disclosure is a movably installed ejector pipe for a gas fireplace, the nozzle and the limit seat are fixed to the substrate, the ejector pipe is inserted between the limit seat and the nozzle, the limit seat is provided inside with a first inner bore and a second inner bore of a stepped shape, the first inner bore is below the second inner bore and is larger than the second inner bore, a head of the ejector pipe is provided with a groove. In the gas fireplace provided in the present disclosure, because a limit seat is added, the ejector pipe can swing at a certain angle within the limit seat, so that a placing angle of a burner can be finely adjusted and thereby the burner is in a position that allows for the optimal viewing effect of flame combustion.
Combination Fuel Fire Pit
A portable combination gas and wood fire pit device comprises a spark screen disposed over a fire bowl and a grating disposed across an open top of the fire bowl. A gas burner is disposed in the fire bowl and below the grating. A cover plate is disposed over the gas burner and spaced above the gas burner to cover an open cup and neck of the gas burner from above. The spark screen has a cylindrical shape with vertical side wall extending above the fire bowl and a solid section and a mesh section. The solid section has interior and exterior perimeters forming a silhouette or stencil defining an object comprising at least: an animal, a person, a landscape, or combinations thereof.
Thin chamber burner
Burner assemblies including panels (e.g., transparent panels) supported in a substantially parallel, closely-spaced relationship and gaskets and spacers sealing the space between the panels to form a perimeter seal and to define a plenum between the first and second panels with an inlet into the plenum and an outlet out of the plenum.
Gas-fueled heater
A gas-fueled heater can have a housing with pressure regulators, a control valve, a fluid selection valve and a burner positioned therein. The pressure regulators, control valve, fluid selection valve and burner can be configured to combust a fuel to create heat. The housing can include a number of holes passing therethrough to control access to the various components.
GAS FIREPLACE AND FLOW GUIDE MEMBER OF THE SAME
A gas fireplace includes a firebox, a translucent cover provided on the firebox, and a separate assembly. The separate assembly is provided in the firebox, and divides the firebox into an air chamber and a combustion chamber which corresponds to the translucent cover. An exhaust passage is formed between the separate assembly and the translucent cover, and communicates the air chamber and the combustion chamber, wherein an inner width of the exhaust passage gradually reduces from the air chamber toward the combustion chamber. During the combustion, the exhaust passage guides cold air to flow through the semi-enclosed air chamber, and to evenly blow into the translucent cover, which forms an even air curtain on a surface of a bottom portion of the translucent cover to block out the heat. Whereby, the temperature of the translucent cover and the bottom portion of the combustion chamber could be lowered.
