Embodiments include a wood pellet burner unit with a sliding floor hopper. The wood pellet burner unit includes a wood pellet fire pit, a wood pellet kettle burner, a wood pellet barbeque burner, and/or a wood pellet smoker, or the like. The sliding floor hopper includes an upper loading section having an opening therein that receives wood pellets, and a staging section coupled to the upper loading section and stages the wood pellets received from the upper loading section. A sliding floor is disposed atop a staging surface of the staging section and through a slit in the staging section. The sliding floor oscillates between a forward position and a back position. The sliding floor oscillates between a forward position and a back position to automatically and periodically feed the wood pellets to a lower region of the wood pellet burner unit on a continuous basis.

GRILL WITH COLD SMOKE GRILLING MODES

A grilling device includes an auger feeder system, a heating element, a blower and a temperature control system. The temperature control system includes at least a first temperature sensor inside the firepot and a second temperature sensor inside a cooking chamber above the firepot. The heating element can also serve as the first temperature sensor. A method for controlling the temperature of the grill can include receiving temperature feedback information from one or more of the temperature sensors and adjusting power provided to the auger feeder system, heating element, and blower. The temperature control system produces cold smoke resulting from the combustion of lignin in solid wood fuel while minimizing temperatures inside the cooking chamber.

PORTABLE COMBUSTION SYSTEM WITH FIRST AND SECOND AIR SOURCES
20190277495 · 2019-09-12 ·

A combustion/carbonizing system which comprises a base frame and a combustion chamber frame which is pivotably attached to the base frame. The combustion chamber frame defines an open top combustion chamber having a bottom perforated plate. A plenum is formed below the perforated plate for collecting biochar which passes therethrough. A first source of combustion air is supplied across the top of the combustion chamber while a second source of combustion air passes through the perforated plate into the combustion chamber. The combustion/carbonizing system is capable of operating in a continuous manner for combustion wood or waste material to the desired degree required by the end user for the purpose of reducing the volume of the material as well as the associated emissions while generating valuable char and boichar as an end product. For some applications, the combustion/carbonizing system may be operated to combust completely the wood or waste material.

Combustion chamber for pellet grills

A combustion chamber has an inner wall defining an inner chamber. The inner wall is perforated to admit combustion air into the inner chamber. The combustion chamber has an outer wall defining an outer chamber. The outer wall is perforated to admit combustion air from a pressurized air plenum to the inner wall. The inner and outer wall are spaced apart such that air may flow between the inner and outer walls.

Pyrolysis Boiler

Heat and power engineering, specifically being heating devices includes a pyrolysis boiler, in which, wood is subjected to high-temperature gasification and pyrolysis with subsequent burning off of pyrolysis gases. A stable and controllable gasification of wood with a natural high moisture content is achieved, and at the same time, a highly efficient transfer of combustion heat to a liquid heat-transfer agent is obtained. A gasification chamber is positioned between two compartments of a pyrolysis gas combustion chamber of the pyrolysis boiler, while the external wall of the combustion chamber is used as a heat-transfer surface, and at the same time, neither the fuel bunker nor the gasification chamber are in contact with water.

BOILER APPARATUS FOR WASTE INCINERATION
20190195490 · 2019-06-27 ·

A boiler apparatus for waste incineration includes a combustion chamber having a waste inlet formed on one side and combustion spaces for incinerating the introduced waste. Air injection pipes are vertically spaced apart from one another from a lower part of the combustion chamber, extend along the circumference thereof, and have injection holes to inject air toward the center of the combustion spaces. An air supply unit supplies air to each of the air injecting pipes separately, in response to a control signal. Temperature sensors are mounted in the combustion spaces in respective stages vertically divided on the basis of the air injecting pipes, to measure a combustion temperature of the combustion space within the combustion chamber. A control module controls operation of the air supply unit, to control an injection amount of air fed to the combustion space according to a combustion temperature measured by each temperature sensor.
