A power plant includes a gas turbine including a turbine extraction port that is in fluid communication with a hot gas path of the turbine and an exhaust duct that receives exhaust gas from the turbine outlet. The power plant further includes a first gas cooler having a primary inlet fluidly coupled to the turbine extraction port, a secondary inlet fluidly coupled to a coolant supply system and an outlet in fluid communication with the exhaust duct. The first gas cooler provides a cooled combustion gas to the exhaust duct which mixes with the exhaust gas to provide an exhaust gas mixture to a heat exchanger downstream from the exhaust duct. The power plant further includes a fuel heater in fluid communication with the outlet of the first gas cooler.

A fuel oil provision-vaporization-pressure regulation-full premixed combustion system includes an air pump, a fuel tank, a vaporizing chamber, a preheater, a premix nozzle, an ignition device, a full premixed combustor and an intake guiding device. The air pump communicates with an air inlet of the fuel tank through a first conduit. The fuel tank is provided with a fuel inlet and a fuel outlet pipe. The fuel outlet pipe communicates with a fuel inlet of the vaporizing chamber through a second conduit. The vaporizing chamber is provided with the preheater. A fuel outlet of the vaporizing chamber is in communication with an air inlet of the premix nozzle through a third conduit. An air outlet of the premix nozzle opens to the intake guiding device. An outlet of the intake guiding device communicates with the full premixed combustor. The full premixed combustor is provided with the ignition device.

COMBUSTION OF FUEL

A gas turbine includes an engine core with a turbine, a compressor, a combustor to combust a fuel, and a core shaft connecting the turbine to the compressor; a fan located upstream of the engine core; a fan shaft; a main gearbox that receives an input from the core shaft and outputs drive to the fan via the fan shaft; a primary oil loop system arranged to supply oil to lubricate the main gearbox; and a heat exchange system arranged to transfer heat between the oil and the fuel, the oil having an average temperature of at least 180 C. on entry to the heat exchange system at cruise conditions. A method of operating the turbine includes transferring heat from the oil to the fuel so as to lower the fuel viscosity to a value of less than or equal to 0.58 mm.sup.2/s on entry to the combustor at cruise conditions.

The present invention provides an apparatus (10) for producing inorganic spheroidized particles, including a burner (11) for producing inorganic spheroidized particles, a vertical spheroidizing furnace (15), an ammonia supply source (12), an oxygen supply source (13), an ammonia supply line (L1) located between the ammonia supply source (12) and the burner (11) for producing inorganic spheroidized particles, and an oxygen supply line (L2) located between the oxygen supply source (13) and the burner (11) for producing inorganic spheroidized particles.

A vaporizer for a combustion tool comprising an inlet, an outlet, a first pressure regulator fluidly connected to the inlet, a second pressure regulator fluidly connected to the outlet, and an evaporator fluidly connected between the first pressure regulator and the second pressure regulator. The vaporizer is configured to receive, when in use, liquid and/or gaseous fuel from a fuel cartridge on the combustion tool through the inlet so that it goes through the first pressure regulator, then through the evaporator, and then through the second pressure regulator so that the gaseous fuel is delivered through the outlet at a substantially constant pressure.
