An adjustable injector system for adjusting a radial distribution of a mixed fuel includes an adjustable injector configured to receive first and second non-carbon fuels and configured to adjust the radial distribution of the mixed fuel with a movable part, wherein the mixed fuel is obtained from mixing the first non-carbon fuel with the second non-carbon fuel; a sensor configured to determine an instability of a flame generated by the mixed fuel; and a controller electrically connected to the adjustable injector and the sensor, and configured to change a configuration of the adjustable injector, based on an input signal from the sensor, to control the radial distribution of the mixed fuel.

DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING A FUEL-OXIDIZER MIXTURE IN A PREMIX GAS BURNER
20230288063 · 2023-09-14 ·

A method for controlling a fuel-oxidizer mixture in a premix gas burner includes: receiving a flame signal representing the presence of a flame deriving from the combustion of a fuel of a first predetermined type or a second predetermined type inside a combustion cell; accessing fuel data representing the fact that the gas fuel belongs to the first type or the second type; generating drive signals to control a gas flow regulating valve that supplies gas to the burner and to control a rotation speed of a fan configured to take in oxidative air; sending the drive signals to the gas flow regulating valve and to a motor connected to the fan. A memory unit contains first regulation data and second regulation data and is programmed to generate the drive signals based on the first regulation data or on the second regulation data, depending on the fuel data.

A cooking appliance may use a sensor to sense a rate of movement of a user control and generate an alert when the rate of movement meets an alert criterion, thereby enabling detection of potential inadvertent movements of a user control.

Gas cooking appliance

According to some embodiments gas cooking appliances are provided that include at least one burner, an electrode, and a push button unit with a push button for activating the electrode. A gas valve is provided for each burner for regulating gas flow arriving from a gas conduit. An electromagnetic shut-off valve is arranged in the gas conduit and includes a closure member for closing the passage of gas. A control unit controls the shut-off valve. The closure member includes a stable closed position and a stable open position, the closure member changing position upon receiving electric current pulses. The push button unit is configured for pushing the closure member of the shut-off valve to the open position while at the same time activating the control unit and the electrode when the push button is pressed when the gas cooking appliance off. The control unit controls the shut-off valve by means of electric current pulses once the push button has been pressed.
