The closure member being fixed with play to the first end of the swinging arm.

Gas valve with overpressure diagnostics

This disclosure relates generally to valves, and more particularly, to gas valve assemblies. In one example, a gas valve assembly may include a valve body with one or more valves movable between an opened position and a closed position, one or more valve actuators configured to operate the valves, and one or more pressure sensors to sense a pressure within a fluid path of the valve assembly. A valve controller may receive a measure related to a sensed pressure from the one or more pressure sensor(s). The valve controller may compare the received measure related to the sensed pressure to an overpressure threshold. In the event the measure related to the sensed pressure surpasses the overpressure threshold value, the valve controller may be configured to provide a signal that indicates an overpressure event has occurred.

COOKTOP HAVING ELECTRICALLY CONTROLLED GAS FLOW

Gas cooktops disclosed herein may include a proportional solenoid valve controlling gas flow to a gas burner, where the proportional solenoid valve has a continuously variable range of positions. A user interface (UI) element associated with the proportional solenoid valve may be utilized to control a linear voltage regulator having a continuously variable output voltage. The output voltage of the linear voltage regulator is coupled to a solenoid of the proportional solenoid valve, such that the gas flow to the gas burner has a linear relationship with the output voltage of the linear voltage regulator.

A gas safety valve adapted to a domestic appliance is provided that includes an electromagnet, a phase wire and a ground wire. A support of the electromagnet includes a housing in which resides a phase closure. A segment of the phase wire and a segment of the ground wire are respectively electrically connected with the phase closure and with the support. According to one embodiment the valve includes a connector inserted in the housing of the support. The connector having inserted therein a first end portion of a phase terminal and a first end portion of a ground terminal that are respectively electrically connected with the phase closure and an inner area of the support. Each of the phase terminal and ground terminal including a second end portion that resides exposed to the outside of the valve.

REGULATING MECHANISM FOR REGULATING THE FLOWS FROM A PLURALITY OF GAS OUTLETS IN A FUEL GAS VALVE
20200333009 · 2020-10-22 · ·

The present invention discloses a regulating mechanism regulating the flows from a plurality of gas outlets in a fuel gas valve, comprising an actuator, a push rod, a presser plate assembly, regulating rods and a valve body. Wherein the valve body has a plurality of gas outlets, a regulating rod is provided in each regulating port which exists between the gas inlet and each gas outlet, a resetting device is provided between each regulating rod and the valve body, and the actuator drives the push rod which is around by the regulating ports to move along the axis. The push rod causes the presser plate assembly to move up and down to press or relax the regulating rods and simultaneously change the degree of opening between the head portion of each regulating rod and the corresponding regulating port so that the flow from each gas outlet changes synchronously.

MULTI-OUTLET CHANNEL COMBINATION GAS VALVE
20200333003 · 2020-10-22 ·

A multi-outlet channel combination gas valve includes a valve body, a solenoid valve and a flow regulating mechanism. The valve body has a multiple of air outlets, at least two outlet channels formed between each air outlet and an air inlet of the valve body, a regulating port disposed in the at least two outlet channels, and the flow regulating mechanism can regulate the gas flow passing through each regulating port of the valve body at the same time, and a solenoid valve with a dual-coil electromagnet structure. When the valve is opened, a relatively larger current is passed, and then a very small current will be provided thereafter to maintain an operation by low power consumption. Therefore, this gas valve can be used without a mains power, and a low-level regulating structure is provided for presetting a low-level flow of each air outlet.
