Resistance Band Measuring Device
20190126097 · 2019-05-02 · ·

A load sensing device for use with an exercise band is disclosed. The load sensing device comprises a band of resilient material, a load sensor attached to the band and configured to measure an extension force applied to the band, and an electronic circuit configured to measure the applied extension force and to wirelessly transmit a signal representative of the applied extension force to a receiver. The band of resilient material protects the load sensor and the electronic circuit from damage by at least partially surrounding them.

DISPLAY DEVICE

A display device (1) includes: screens (13a), (13b), (13c), and (13d) that perform display at positions having respectively different distances from an observer; and a video controller (6) that causes the screens (13a), (13b), (13c), and (13d) to display images, respectively. The screens (13a), (13b), (13c), and (13d) perform display in such a manner that a first region that is a part of the screen (13a), from among the screens (13a), (13b), (13c), and (13d), and a second region that is a part of the screen (13b) overlap with each other as seen from the observer. The video controller (6) causes the first region and the second region to display the same partial image.

Method of providing a virtual space, medium for causing a computer to execute the method, and system for providing a virtual space

A method of providing a virtual space. The method includes defining a virtual space by a processor. The method further includes displaying a field of view of the virtual space on a head mounted display device. The method further includes detecting, by the processor, a motion of the user wearing the head mounted display device. The method further includes determining, by the processor, a flying direction for an object in the virtual space in response to the detected motion. The method further includes flying, by the processor, the object within the virtual space in accordance with the flying direction. The method further includes moving, by the processor, the field of view in the flying direction.

GAME PROGRAM AND GAME APPARATUS

A forward direction line is set on a course, in a virtual game world, on which a player object is allowed to move. An advancing direction at a current position of the player object is determined based on the forward direction line. The advancing direction is determined as a direction in which the player object advances so as to control a movement of a player character in accordance with an acceleration instruction, and a leftward-rightward movement instruction from a player. Consequently, it is possible to assist the player in controlling a direction in which an object operated by the player moves.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR GENERATING VIRTUAL ENCOUNTERS IN VIRTUAL GAMES

A system comprising one or more processors and one or more non-transitory computer-readable media storing computing instructions that cause the one or more processors to perform operations: receiving first real-world geolocation data, generating one or more first virtual encounters based at least in part upon the first real-world telematics data and the first real-world geolocation data; generating one or more second virtual encounters based at least in part upon the first real-world environmental data and the first real-world geolocation data; providing a first virtual map; providing a first virtual character associated with the first real-world user; and simulating the first virtual map and the first virtual character in a virtual game, simulating at least one of (i) the one or more first virtual encounters or (ii) the one or more second virtual encounters for the first virtual map and for the first virtual character. Other embodiments are described.

AUTONOMOUS DRIVING ADJUSTMENT METHOD, APPARATUS, AND SYSTEM
20190072961 · 2019-03-07 ·

In an autonomous driving adjustment apparatus, a condition obtainer obtains condition information indicative of a simulation condition of an autonomous driving simulation. A physical activity obtainer obtains physical activity information about a user who is experiencing an autonomous driving simulation. The physical activity information is correlated with the obtained condition information. A parameter adjuster analyses the condition information and the physical activity information to thereby adjust at least one control parameter used for the autonomous driving simulation.

Systems and methods for scenario generation and monitoring

Processor based systems and methods of defining a scenario event comprising the steps of identifying an event having an event attribute and generalizing the event attribute to define a generalized event whereby the generalized event is the scenario event. In some embodiments, the steps further comprise identifying a first and second event, generalizing a first and second event attribute to define a first and second generalized event and connecting the first and second generalized event in a continuous envelope to create a scenario envelope. Processor based systems and methods of monitoring an activity comprising the steps of monitoring an activity having an activity attribute and comparing the activity attribute to an event envelope to determine a status of the activity relative to the event envelope.
