Method and apparatus for displaying picture in virtual scene, device, storage medium, and program product
A method for displaying a picture in a virtual scene is provided. In the method, the virtual scene of a virtual environment is displayed. The virtual scene includes a first virtual vehicle. A target virtual vehicle of at least one second virtual vehicle is determined based on a distance between the first virtual vehicle and each of the at least one second virtual vehicle. Each of the at least one second virtual vehicle is located behind the first virtual vehicle in the virtual environment. An auxiliary picture is displayed in the virtual scene. The auxiliary picture of the target virtual vehicle is from a point of view associated with the first virtual vehicle.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR TRAINING AND APPLYING VIRTUAL OCCURRENCES AND GRANTING IN-GAME RESOURCES TO A VIRTUAL CHARACTER USING TELEMATICS DATA OF ONE OR MORE REAL TRIPS
A computer-implemented method can include determining, based at least in part upon telematics data associated with one or more real trips by a user operating a real vehicle, a plurality of skill points associated with a plurality of real skills. The method can also include generating one or more virtual occurrences to be encountered by a virtual character having a plurality of virtual ratings associated with a plurality of virtual skills. The method can further include determining one or more outcomes associated with the one or more virtual occurrences. The method can additionally include determining a first quantity of a first virtual resource at least for obtaining outcome-modifying items. The method can also include updating a character profile of the virtual character with a selected outcome-modifying item obtained with the first quantity of the first virtual resource. The method can further include presenting the character profile, as updated, to the user. Other embodiments are disclosed.
Enabling of assist function
In a method of enabling an assist function, the assist function is enabled based on an execution history of a second operation that is to be performed by a virtual object in a virtual environment after a first operation is performed by the virtual object. The assist function is configured to automatically perform the second operation after the first operation. A first user input to perform the first operation by the virtual object is received. The second operation is automatically performed by the virtual object after the first operation is performed by the virtual object based on the assist function being enabled.
VIRTUAL VEHICLE CONTROL METHOD AND APPARATUS, TERMINAL DEVICE, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A virtual vehicle control method, apparatus, terminal device, and storage medium are provided. The method includes: displaying a virtual vehicle in a flying state, the flying state being a state in which the virtual vehicle is not in contact with a ground of a virtual environment; controlling the virtual vehicle to change from the flying state to a landing state in which the virtual vehicle is in contact with the ground of the virtual environment; controlling the virtual vehicle to move forward at a decelerating rate when the vehicle is in a throttle released state at a landing moment at which the flying state is changed to the landing state; and within a first duration counted from the landing moment and in response to detecting an operation for charging prior to detecting a first operation for controlling the virtual vehicle to accelerate, controlling the virtual vehicle to move forward at an accelerating rate with an additional power.
Computer-implemented method, computer program product, and system for brokering on-demand competitive racing and virtual car storage
A computer program product, system, and computer-implemented method for brokering an online racing event between a plurality of drivers and storing data relating to modifications of performance vehicles in a virtual garage. The method includes creation of a virtual vehicles from data structures of included components, and historical data relating to aftermarket components and accessories added to the vehicle. Drivers may be matched together using a matching algorithm, and racing data gathered in real time during a racing event is used to determine a relative performance rating for each driver. An available pool of drivers is determined based on said driver's performance rating and a driver selection criteria.
Automotive competition method for road vehicle, relative apparatus and relative road vehicle
An automotive competition method for having at least a first real road vehicle and a second virtual road vehicle race with each other; the method comprises the steps of: defining a virtual space, comprising a virtual track, on which a virtual projection of the first road vehicle and the second road vehicle race together; moving the virtual projection of the first road vehicle in the virtual space according to actions imparted by a driver to the first road vehicle; transmitting to the driver data related to the movement of the second road vehicle in the virtual space by means of an interface device indicating at least the position on the virtual track of the second road vehicle with respect to the position of the projection of the first road vehicle on the virtual track.
Computer-implemented method, computer program product, and system for executing a virtual race and assigning performance metrics to virtual vehicles
A computer program product, system, and computer-implemented method for brokering an online racing event, actual and virtual, between a plurality of drivers and storing data relating to modifications of performance vehicles in a virtual garage. In various embodiments, a virtual racing event is created in computer-readable memory in which performance metrics for graphic representations of vehicle are assigned.
RACING SIMULATION USING FORCE FEEDBACK AT STEERING WHEEL
In one aspect, a device includes a processor system and storage accessible to the processor system. The storage includes instructions executable by the processor system to facilitate a racing simulation and, as part of facilitating the racing simulation, adapt force feedback at a steering wheel input device in real time as the racing simulation transpires. The force feedback is adapted in real time based on one or more variable inputs associated with the racing simulation.
