A broil baffle for an oven may be provided. The oven may include a broil burner configured to distribute heat. The baffle may be positioned such that the broil burner distributes heat toward the baffle. The baffle may include a plurality of dimples configured to disperse infrared radiation from the distributed heat in multiple directions away from the baffle toward a broiling surface of the oven.

The gas flows through the circumferential and out from the infrared ceramic piece assembled on an opening of the receiving groove so that the gas contacts the air around the infrared ceramic piece fully and is combusted completely so as to prevent monoxide poisoning and waste of gas and to elevate a thermal efficiency.

The present invention relates to a small, lightweight, portable or easily removable high temperature oven with a rotating floor, designed to bake one pizza at a time, and operate between 30 and 1400 F., with mechanisms to independently regulate the temperature of the dome and the floor of the oven, using thermocouples, infrared sensors, other temperature sensors, industrial oven controllers, other programmable logic controllers, solenoid gas valves, or proportional response gas valves, baffles and ventilation systems and other heat sources, control sensing and regulation systems, to imitate the baking conditions of a heavy ceramic traditional Italian cupola oven. Different embodiments include portable catering ovens, food truck ovens, very small pizzeria ovens, and residential ovens with automatic controls, that are approximately conventional residential countertop depth.

GAS GRILLS INCLUDING DOWNWARDLY FACING INFRARED BURNER ASSEMBLIES

Gas grills including downwardly facing infrared (IR) burner assemblies are disclosed. An example gas grill includes a cookbox, a shroud, an IR burner, and a cooking grate. The shroud includes opposing sidewalls and a housing. The opposing sidewalls extend upwardly from the cookbox and include a first pair of opposing grate supports and a second pair of opposing grate supports located below the first pair of opposing grate supports. The housing extends between the opposing sidewalls and defines an internal compartment. The IR burner is coupled to the housing such that a portion of the IR burner is located within the internal compartment. The IR burner includes a plurality of downwardly facing ceramic tiles configured in an end-to-end arrangement. The cooking grate is located below the IR burner and supported by either the first or the second pair of opposing grate supports.
