Gas burner and domestic cooking appliance

A gas burner for a household cooking appliance includes a first mixture-distribution chamber having a plurality of mixture-outlet openings, and a second mixture-distribution chamber separate from the first mixture-distribution chamber. The second mixture-distribution chamber is fluidically connected to the mixture-outlet openings of the first mixture-distribution chamber such that, when the gas burner is in operation, a combustion-gas/primary-air mixture is conducted out from the first mixture-distribution chamber and a combustion-gas/primary-air mixture is conducted out from the second mixture-distribution chamber via the mixture-outlet openings for flame formation.

A cooking appliance includes a gas valve mounting assembly for mounting a gas valve for a gas cooktop burner to a control panel of the appliance. The gas valve mounting assembly includes a valve attachment plate that secures to and generally circumscribes the gas valve and extends generally transversely to an actuation axis of the gas valve, as well as multiple standoffs having respective first and second ends and extending generally parallel to the actuation axis of the gas valve to secure the valve attachment plate to the control panel.

GEAR TWO-WAY CLUTCHING MECHANISM
20220228749 · 2022-07-21 ·

A disclosure relates to a gear two-way clutching mechanism that is acted between the power output and the loading and mainly comprising a power source, a loading, a clutching unit and a deceleration unit. When the first output gear of the loading unit is driven by the power source to rotate to a predetermined position, the teeth missing portion is tangential with and corresponds to the buffer gear, or the wheel teeth portion meshes the buffer gear. The clutching unit connected between the power source, and the loading can perform clutch without working and enables the loading end to freely rotate, or the clutching unit can perform mesh working so that power of the power source is directly outputted to the loading end. With the deceleration unit connected to rear section and/or front section of the clutching unit, speed reduction ratio of the transmission chain connected between the power source and the loading can change to achieve effect of enhancing or changing output torque.

In an example method for operating a gas burner appliance, during burner-on-phases, a gas/air mixture having a defined mixing ratio of gas and air is provided to a burner chamber. The gas/air mixture is provided by a mixing device that mixes an air flow with a gas flow. The air flow is provided by a fan in such a way that the fan speed of the fan depends on a desired burner load. During burner-on-phases, the combustion quality is monitored on the basis of a signal provided by a combustion quality sensor. The defined mixing ratio of gas and air of the gas/air mixture can be calibrated on the basis of the signal provided by the combustion quality sensor.

Retracting and extending control selectors

A system for inhibiting and providing access to appliance control knobs includes a support structure for mounting individual control knobs or groups thereof, and an actuator assembly for extending and retracting control knobs either individually or collectively.

Low-profile exhaust and air intake system for a direct vent fireplace

An exhaust and air intake system for a direct vent fireplace. A low-profile manifold assembly is coupled to a direct vent fireplace and is configured to receive exhaust gases from the fireplace and expel the exhaust gases outside of the building in which the fireplace is located. The manifold assembly also takes in fresh air from outside of the building and provides the fresh air to the fireplace to use during combustion. The manifold assembly includes separate chambers for the exhaust gases and the fresh air so that the exhaust gases and the fresh air do not mix together within the manifold assembly. Several pressure reduction and equalization structures are incorporated into the manifold assembly to regulate the amount and pressure of fresh air provided to the fireplace.

Home appliance having an anti-rotational housing for a gas supply orifice holder

A home cooking appliance includes a cooking compartment, a gas burner tube in the cooking compartment, a gas supply orifice holder coupled to a gas supply line at a first end and having a gas supply orifice at a second end. The gas supply orifice is configured to inject gas from the gas supply line into the gas burner tube. The home cooking appliance further includes an anti-rotational housing fixing a position of the gas supply orifice holder with respect to the gas burner tube.

Cooking appliance

The present disclosure relates to a cooking appliance including a valve holder assembly for preventing movement of a valve. The cooking appliance includes a main body including a heating part, a valve positioned at least partially inside the main body to supply fuel to the heating part, and a knob unit coupled to the main body to regulate the degree of opening and closing of the valve, wherein the knob unit includes an operating part provided on a front surface of the main body to be operable and to which the valve is coupled at least partially, and a valve holder assembly positioned at the rear of the operating part, and the valve holder assembly includes a valve holder configured to allow a portion of the valve to pass therethrough, a valve holder casing configured to receive the valve holder, and an elastic member provided on the valve holder casing and configured to contact the valve holder to prevent movement of the valve.
