GAS SHUT-OFF VALVE FOR A GAS COOKING APPLIANCE AND GAS COOKING APPLIANCE INCORPORATING SAID GAS SHUT-OFF VALVE
According to one embodiment a gas shut-off valve is provided with an intermediate port communicating a gas inlet an a gas outlet, a closing member moveable between a closed position and an open position, the intermediate port being blocked when the closing member is in the closed position. The shut-off valve includes a magnetic actuator having at least one permanent magnet and a movable element, attached to the closing member, with a ferromagnetic element adhered to the permanent magnet when the closing member is in an open position. A manual actuator of the shut-off valve is configured to move the closing member to the open position. A temperature sensing device is included that has a rod that expands and shrinks with temperature changes, with one end of the rod facing the movable element. The expansion of the rod at a closing temperature causing a pushing on the ferromagnetic element, moving the closing member from the open position to the closed position.
Control console assembly for a cooking appliance
A control console for an appliance such as a cooking range and a method of assembling. The control console can include a front glass panel that is full-width so as to overlay or cover metal portions of the console as viewed from the front of the appliance. A frame may include one or more brackets having a movable paddle that can be used with an adhesive to facilitate manufacturing.
METHOD OF OPERATING AN IGNITION ELEMENT OF A GAS BURNER
An oven appliance and a method of operating the same are provided. The oven appliance includes a heating element such as a gas burner that is provided with a flow of fuel and an ignition element for igniting the flow of fuel. The method includes activating the ignition element by closing an ignitor relay and determining an adjusted flame time based on a target flame time and an ignition delay. The ignition element is deactivated when the adjusted flame time has passed since the activation of the ignition element. The method may further include compensating for the extinction delay of the gas burner to achieve the desired heating time.
Knob structure for electromagnetic oven
A knob structure for an electromagnetic oven includes a knob switch assembly. The knob switch assembly consists of a sleeve button, a rotary encoder, a bracket of a display screen, and a control assembly. The knob switch assembly is connected to a printed circuit board through a through hole. A guide rib is disposed around a circumference of the through hole. The display screen with a protection assembly disposed outside is integrated with the knob switch assembly. The guide rib effectively prevents water from entering inside of the electromagnetic oven, lengthens a service life of the electromagnetic oven, and facilitates cleaning. The knob switch assembly integrated with the display screen realizes miniaturization and reduces a cost. The protection assembly ensures a display effect of the display screen.
Cooktop appliance with a gas burner assembly
A gas burner assembly for a cooktop appliance includes a normally aspirated primary burner and a concentrically-positioned forced air boost burner. A dual-outlet solenoid valve receives fuel from a fuel source and selectively directs the fuel to a first solenoid outlet in fluid communication with the primary burner and a second solenoid outlet in fluid communication with the boost burner. The solenoid valve is positionable in a first position where the first solenoid outlet is substantially open and the second solenoid outlet is substantially closed and a second position where the first solenoid outlet is partially open and the second solenoid outlet is substantially open.
FOLDED BURNER
A portable outdoor stove comprises a gas control valve, the gas control valve being dockable by a fuel supply means; a burner unit provided on the gas control valve; a plurality of supports attached to the portable outdoor stove, the supports being foldable at least between a first position and a second position; wherein in the first position the supports are adapted to provide a hold for a receptacle such as a pot to be heated by the burner unit; wherein in the second position the supports are adapted to form a cover around the burner unit such that the burner unit does not project outside the cover.
Retracting and extending control selectors
A system for inhibiting and providing access to appliance control knobs includes a support structure for mounting individual control knobs or groups thereof, and an actuator assembly for extending and retracting control knobs either individually or collectively.
GAS COOKTOP WITH POWER MANAGEMENT
A gas cooktop includes one or more gas burners on a top panel. A high output gas burner is also positioned on the top panel. The high output gas burner is separate from each of the one or more gas burners. The high output gas burner has a maximum heat output greater than each of the one or more gas burners. An electronic control valve is coupled to a supply line of the high output gas burner. The electronic control valve is operable to adjust a flow rate of fuel through the supply line of the high output gas burner. A controller is in communication with the electronic control valve and the one or more control valves. The controller is configured for throttling the maximum heat output of the high output gas burner with the electronic control valve.
Wireless control device
An internet-based device for remotely controlling the flow of electricity to electrical devices that operate on millivolt or low voltage currents, including electrically operated gas powered fireplaces.
