Cooktop appliance temperature sensor with temperature correction
A cooktop appliance includes a gas burner disposed on a panel of the cooktop appliance and a grate with a plurality of fingers positioned above the gas burner. The plurality of fingers includes a sensor finger. A temperature sensor is mounted to the sensor finger of the plurality of fingers of the grate. The temperature sensor includes a first temperature probe extending above a top surface of the sensor finger at a first end of the sensor finger and a second temperature probe positioned within the sensor finger between the top surface of the sensor finger and a bottom surface of the sensor finger.
Method for controlling a cooking process by using a liquid
The present invention relates to a method for controlling a cooking process by using a liquid in a cooking vessel, for example a cooking pot, upon a cooking hob (20). The method comprises a step of determining a cooking parameter of the liquid in the cooking vessel at a predetermined time (tB, tBP), a step of adjusting a heating power density (P) of a cooking zone of the cooking hob (20) for transferring a heating power (P) to the cooking vessel placed on the cooking zone; and a step of reducing the heating power density (P) transferred to the cooking vessel from an initial power (iP) to a simmering power (PS). Further, the present invention relates to a cooking vessel for the cooking hob (20). Moreover, the present invention relates to a cooking appliance for performing the cooking process.
ERROR-PROOF OPERATING SYSTEM FOR PORTABLE GAS HOB
An error-proof operating system for a portable gas hob includes a gas tank cavity partition having two ends respectively fixed to a front panel and a back panel, wherein a bounce limiting device is provided on the gas tank cavity partition, the bounce limiting device is connected to an actuating rod, the actuating rod is rotatably connected to the gas tank cavity partition, one end of the actuating rod penetrates through the front panel, and a top of the bounce limiting device is not lower than a bearing end for bearing a liquid holding tray. The beneficial effect of the present invention is: by providing the bounce limiting device and using same in conjunction with the liquid holding tray, user's operation is standardized to avoid dangerous accidents caused by incorrect operating.
USER INTERFACE DISPLAY FOR COOKING APPLIANCE
A cooking appliance includes a heating surface and an interface console elevated above the heating surface. The interface console includes a viewing window forming an outer surface and an inner surface, opposite the outer surface, and a display device configured to transmit light through the viewing window. The display device is aligned with the viewing window in a spaced-apart configuration forming an insulating passage between the display device and the interior surface. An air intake is in connection with the insulating passage. The insulating passage provides an air flow path extending from a ventilation passage of the cooking appliance, and the ventilation passage extends away from the heating surface and communicates environmental air to the insulating passage.
COMBUSTION COOKING APPLIANCE
A cooking appliance including a combustion zone and a cooking zone. The combustion zone has a combustion zone air flow path extending from a combustion zone air inlet to a combustion zone air outlet. The cooking zone overlies the combustion zone, and the cooking zone includes a closed cooking volume having a cooking surface and an openable lid. Combustion products produced in the combustion zone are isolated from the closed cooking volume.
METHOD AND APPARATUS TO ALERT ENERGIZATION OF COOKING APPLICANCE SURFACE BURNERS
A method and apparatus for a cooking appliance having an alert for energization of one or more burners. The cooking appliance may include an ignition enable control. The cooking appliance may include a locked mode and an unlocked mode. The cooking appliance may include one or more alarms to alert the user.
COOKING APPLIANCE WITH SELF-CLOSING USER CONTROL
A cooking appliance includes a self-closing user control for a cooking element that is capable of automatically returning to an off position whenever it is released by a user in a portion of the movable range of positions for the self-closing user control, yet also is capable of maintaining its position in another portion of the movable range of positions for the self-closing user control.
FOOD COOKING UNIT
Food cooking unit composed of gas burners (1) and an ignition source (2) feed with gas through regulation electrovalves (3) and an ignition source electrovalve (13); a food monitoring sensor (5) focused towards the cooking zone and/or a weight sensor (15); at least one thermocouple (6) in thermal contact with the flames and in connection with a safety electrovalve (4) and an electronic control device (7) connected to said food monitoring sensor (5), to said at least one regulating electrovalve (3) and to the ignition source electrovalve (13) and that stores different regulation programs and that regulates the regulating electrovalve (3) and/or interrupts the thermocouple connection with the safety electrovalve in response to the signals obtained from the food monitoring sensor (5) and/or from the weight sensor (15) and/or the thermocouple (6).
ALL-PURPOSE GAS STOVE STRUCTURE CAPABLE OF INCREASING AIR INTAKE THEREOF
An all-purpose gas stove structure capable of increasing its air intake includes an all-purpose opening-covering case, an extended supporting frame, and at least one gas nozzle. The all-purpose opening-covering case includes an opening-covering case body for covering the heat source-receiving opening of a roasting/grilling device completely, and a gas controller with a gas operation unit for controlling the state of communication between gas input and output ends. The extended supporting frame is a box with a protective lid, is coupled to the inner side of the opening-covering case body at one end, and has a stove burner opening at the opposite end. The lateral walls of the protective lid are formed with vent holes. The gas nozzle is provided on the inner side of the stove burner opening. The all-purpose gas stove structure allows a ceramic roasting/grilling device to have a higher air intake and therefore produce higher heat.
Sealing temperature sensor assembly for an appliance cooktop
A temperature sensor assembly for a cooktop appliance can include a plate with a cylindrically-shaped boss, one or more seals located in one or more grooves of the plate, a grommet disk engaged with the bottom surface of the plate, and a cylindrically-shaped grommet in which a cap for a temperature sensor is positioned and is slidable therein.
