OVEN APPLIANCE AND METHODS FOR ADAPTIVE COOKING
An oven appliance may provide for a method of adaptive cooking. The method may include receiving an oven temperature signal to indicate an oven temperature and directing activation of a bottom heating element according to a first heating cycle based on the oven temperature signal. The method may further include receiving a bottom temperature signal to indicate a bottom temperature and directing activation of the bottom heating element according to a second heating cycle based on the bottom temperature signal, the second heating cycle being distinct from the first heating cycle.
Electric Heater And Cooking Appliance Having Same
An electric heater includes a substrate; and a plane heating element disposed on one surface of the substrate. The plane heating element includes a pattern portion including a start point and an end point, which are located at an outermost side of the pattern portion, the pattern portion including a plurality of tracks having an arc shape, which are spaced apart from each other and are formed to have a length increasing from an innermost side to the outermost side of the pattern portion, and a plurality of bridges connecting the plurality of tracks in series. The plurality of bridges are formed on both sides of the pattern portion with respect to a reference line passing through a center of the pattern portion, and an innermost gap between the pair of bridges located at the innermost side of the pattern portion is narrower than an outermost gap between a pair of bridges located at the outermost side of the pattern portion.
OVEN APPLIANCE WITH INSULATED HEATING ELEMENT
An oven appliance includes a cabinet and a chamber defined within the cabinet for receipt of food items for cooking. A heating element is positioned within or proximate to the chamber. The heating element may be partially enclosed by thermal insulation. The heating element may include an outer surface. The outer surface of the heating element may be made up of a first portion which is separated from the chamber by a thermal insulation and a second portion which is exposed to the chamber.
OVEN APPLIANCE WITH TOP GAS BURNER
An oven appliance includes a cabinet with a chamber for receipt of food items for cooking defined therein. The oven appliance also includes a gas burner positioned proximate to a top portion of the chamber. The oven appliance may also include a low-power electric heating element. The gas burner may be the only combustive heat source for the chamber. The oven appliance includes an electric power supply that may consist of a twenty amp or less circuit.
Cooktop Appliance and Heating Element Having a Thermally Isolated Thermostat
A cooktop appliance or heating coil assembly may include a heating element, a shroud cover, a thermostat, and a spring bracket. The shroud cover may be disposed within the heating element. The shroud cover may include a top wall defining an upper surface and a lower surface. The thermostat may extend vertically between a distal end and an interior end below the distal end. The distal end may be disposed against the shroud cover at the lower surface. The thermostat may be connected in series between the first and second coil sections of the spiral wound sheathed heating element. The spring bracket may be disposed against the shroud cover at the lower surface and bias the shroud cover upward.
TOASTER OVEN SYSTEM AND METHOD
A toaster oven system includes a main body, a heating element, a front door, and a top door. The main body has a cooking cavity for holding food, and in which the heating element is disposed. The main body also has a front side and a top side, with the front side defining a front opening of the main body, and the top side defining a top opening of the main body. The front door is hingedly attached to the main body and movable between a closed position and an opened position. The top door is hingedly attached to the main body and movable between a closed position and an opened position. The food is insertable or removable by the user through either the front opening or the top opening when an associated one of the front door and the top door is in the opened position.
OVEN WITH TILTING BROILER ASSEMBLY
An oven includes an interior liner defining an interior cavity between two generally parallel, spaced-apart side walls, a top wall extending between the two side walls, and a back wall extending downwardly from the top wall. The oven further includes a broiler element mounted within the interior liner and moveable between a cooking position, wherein the broiler element extends laterally along the top wall in a direction between the two side walls and longitudinally away from the back wall, and a cleaning position, wherein the broiler element extends laterally along the back wall in the direction between the two side walls and vertically away from the top wall.
Cavity Structure for Accommodating Cooking Food and Cooking Device
The invention discloses a cavity structure for accommodating cooking food and a cooking device, and relates to the technical field of structures of cooking devices. The cavity structure includes a cavity assembly, wherein the cavity assembly at least includes a first cavity and a second cavity with each being provided with a lateral opening, and the first cavity and the second cavity are spaced and arranged independently. The cavity structure for accommodating the cooking food and the cooking device applying the cavity structure in the invention have the characteristics of simple and reasonable structure, convenience for storage, high material utilization ratio and production efficiency, low part rejection rate, and high dismounting/mounting speed.
OVEN APPLIANCE WITH BOTTOM BROIL ELEMENT
An oven appliance includes a cabinet defining a vertical direction, a lateral direction, and a transverse direction. The vertical, lateral, and transverse directions are mutually perpendicular. The cabinet comprising a front portion spaced apart from a back portion along the transverse direction and a left side spaced apart from a right side along the lateral direction. The oven appliance also includes a chamber defined within the cabinet for receipt of food items for cooking. A broil heating element is positioned proximate to a bottom portion of the chamber.
COOKING DEVICE HAVING A COOKING VESSEL AND A CERAMIC HEATER
A cooking vessel according to one example embodiment includes a food receptacle for holding food during cooking. The cooking vessel includes an inner shell and an outer shell. An outside surface of the inner shell forms the food receptacle. A portion of an inside surface of the inner shell is spaced from a portion of an inside surface of the outer shell forming a sealed volume between the inner shell and the outer shell. A heat pipe is positioned within the sealed volume between the inner shell and the outer shell for distributing heat through the sealed volume between the inner shell and the outer shell. Embodiments include those wherein each of the inner shell and the outer shell includes a respective bottom wall and a respective side wall.
