COOKING APPLIANCE
A cooking appliance capable of preventing a user's unintended rotation of a knob assembly includes: a main body including a control panel; a valve positioned inside the main body, and including a valve shaft being pushable and rotatable; and a knob assembly including an inner knob coupled with the valve shaft, and an outer knob being movable with respect to the inner knob in a first direction in which the outer knob approaches the inner knob, wherein, when the outer knob moves by a first push distance in the first direction, the valve shaft and the inner knob are prevented from rotating.
Food preparation system
A food preparation system and method include: triggering image capturing of a camera to obtain one or more images of a food support platform while the food support platform supports a first food item; performing ingredient recognition for the first food item, including: classifying a feature tensor of a respective image in a general classifier to identify one or more first-level food ingredient categories corresponding to the first food item; and classifying the feature tensor of the respective image in a respective detailed classifier corresponding to each of the one or more first-level food ingredient categories to identify a corresponding second-level food ingredient category corresponding to the first food item, wherein the second-level food ingredient category is a sub-category of said each first-level food ingredient category; and, adjusting one or more heating units for heating the first food item in accordance with the ingredient recognition that has been performed.
Knob assembly for cook top
A knob assembly includes a front panel, a knob located at a front panel of an appliance and configured to rotate based on operation by a user, a valve shaft that is coupled to the knob and that extends through the front panel, a valve connected to the valve shaft and configured to control supply of gas to the appliance, and a knob sensor configured to detect a rotational position of the valve shaft. The valve shaft is configured to control the valve to adjust a flow rate of gas based on rotation of the valve shaft.
Operation Control Panel Push-Pull Mechanism and Steaming-Roasting Electric Appliance
The present disclosure provides an operation control panel push-pull mechanism and a steam-roasting electric appliance. The operation control panel push-pull mechanism is capable of driving an operation control panel of an electric appliance to move between a first position and a second position, and includes a driving part, a fitting part and a first pushing part; the fitting part is fixed relative to a body of the steam-roasting electric appliance, the first pushing part is rotatably connected with the driving part and fixedly connected with the operation control panel, a rail structure is provided on the first pushing part, the fitting part cooperates with the rail structure, and the driving part is capable of driving the first pushing part to drive the operation control panel to move between the first position and the second position.
COOKING APPLIANCE AND CONTROL KNOB WITH INTEGRATED DISPLAY
A control knob for an appliance deploys a round bezel region that surround a fixed electronic display panel that is touch sensitive. The appliance state or operating condition is modified by the user rotating the bezel and selecting graphic user interface (GUI) icons on the electronic display. The bezel orientation modifies the GUI to display icons that operate the appliance in different modes. In a first mode of power control, the GUI displays power levels and the bezel orientation modifies the power level. In a second mode, the GUI displays temperature settings and the bezel orientation modifies the temperature. The GUI displays icons that when activated switch between the first and second mode as well as turn off the appliance. Another icon may activate a third mode that enables control and display of other settings, such as temperature units, time and date, count down timers and the like.
ELECTRIC KAMADO GRILL
A kamado-style grill fitted with an electric heat source for generating heat internal to the grill. A control panel is positioned external to the grill for allowing a user to activate and adjust the temperature internal to the grill by adjusting the output of the electric heat source. Optionally, the kamado-style grill is designed as a dual use cooking device. The electric heat source may thus be removed from the interior of the grill and replaced by a panel for protecting the control panel, allowing the grill to be reconfigured as a wood or charcoal grill.
