Domestic appliance device
A household appliance device includes a first structural unit, a second structural unit, and an insulation unit configured to provide an insulation between the first and second structural units. The insulation unit includes a placement assist element configured to tailor an exterior shape of the insulation unit to the first structural unit for placement of the insulation unit, and an expansion compensation element configured to compensate at least substantially a thermal expansion of at least one subregion of the insulation unit.
Trim breaker having metallic insert for decreased gas permeation
A vacuum insulated structure includes a trim breaker having a wrapper channel and a liner channel that extend perimetrically about the trim breaker. An inner liner is attached to the trim breaker at the liner channel. An outer wrapper is attached to the trim breaker at the wrapper channel. A metallic plate is disposed within the trim breaker and extends from a first area proximate the liner channel to a second area proximate the wrapper channel. The metallic plate defines an internal barrier to gas permeation through the trim breaker.
OVEN DOOR WITH COOLING
A door assembly for a domestic cooking appliance includes an outer door skin; an inner door liner; a transparent viewing panel assembly between the outer door skin and the inner door liner; an interior region located between the outer door skin and the viewing panel assembly; a lower air opening in a lower region of the door assembly that fluidly connects the interior region with an environment outside of the door assembly; an upper air opening in an upper region of the door assembly that fluidly connects the interior region with the environment outside of the door assembly; and an angled air guide forming a portion of a wall of the interior region between the lower air opening and the upper air opening, the angled air guide being non-coplanar with, and non-perpendicular to, a surface of a viewing panel of the viewing panel assembly.
Household cooking appliance
A household cooking appliance includes a cooking chamber and a door for closing the cooking chamber. The door includes a first pane, a second pane arranged at a spacing from the first pane, a first door profile, a second door profile arranged at a spacing from the first door profile, and a sealing device arranged between the first pane and the second pane and fastened to the first door profile and the second door profile.
DOOR FOR SEALING A COOKING CHAMBER, WHICH HAS A CONDENSATE COLLECTION DEVICE, AND COOKING APPLIANCE
A door for sealing a cooking chamber of a cooking appliance includes a rear wall and a condensate collection device for collecting a condensate draining from a rear side of the rear wall. The condensate collection device includes a collection and guide rail to collect condensate draining from the rear side and to divert the condensate in the direction of a collection container of the condensate collection device.
Glass on outside of range door
Techniques are provided for constructing an appliance door having a metal-to-metal-to-glass bond. In one or more implementations a glass panel is mounted to a door skin of a door panel, the door skin having multiple slots. Adhesive is applied to the side of the door skin opposite the glass panel along a path created by the multiple slots. Afterwards, a metal frame is placed on the adhesive creating a metal-to-metal-to-glass bond with increased structural strength and a reduced gap between the glass and metal of the door panel.
Oven appliance and a flame arrester for an oven appliance
An oven appliance and flame arrester therefore are provided herein. The flame arrester may include a first member and a second member. The first member may extend in a lateral direction along a portion of the opening. The first member may define a chamber aperture extending along an arrest axis in fluid communication with the cooking chamber. The second member may extend from the first member and away from the cooking chamber. The second member may define an intake aperture extending non-parallel to the arrest axis. A fluid passage may be defined between the first member and the second member in fluid communication between the intake aperture and the chamber aperture.
OVEN
An oven includes a main body having a cooking room, a door disposed in the main body to open or close the cooking room, a door having a window to view the inside of the cooking room, a light emitting member disposed in the door, and a guide member to guide light of the light emitting member toward the cooking room.
COOKING APPLIANCE
A cooking appliance is provided that includes a casing defining a cooking cavity. The casing includes a top wall defining an aperture. A supporting member has an inner surface and defines an air channel and a sealed chamber with a first opening and a second opening. The second opening is aligned with the aperture of the top wall of the casing. A fan is coupled to the casing and is configured to selectively supply airflow along the inner surface. An imaging device assembly is positioned within the air channel of the supporting member and is aligned with the first opening of the chamber to view the cavity. The imaging device assembly is configured to seal the first opening. A transparent member is positioned proximate the second opening and is configured to seal the second opening.
Insulation device
An insulation device having: a tubular and pliable joint member, the joint member comprising a first end region and a second end region opposite to the first end region, the second end region being fastened to the first end region at a junction area so as to form a joint loop, and a flexible sleeve comprising a tubular central portion, a first end portion and a second end portion disposed on either side of the tubular central portion, the first end portion being folded toward the interior of the tubular central portion, the second end portion being folded toward the interior of the tubular central portion, the flexible sleeve being mounted about the joint loop and configured to cover the junction area. The present invention also concerns a folding tool and a method for folding and mounting the insulation device.
