COOKING APPLIANCE PROVIDED WITH A DOOR LATCH ASSEMBLY
The present invention relates to a cooking appliance which includes at least a muffle defining a cooking cavity, a frame and a door hinged to the frame. An aperture is provided in the frame for gaining access to the cooking cavity, the door allowing the aperture to be selectively opened and closed by means of a rotation of the door around a rotation axis. The cooking appliance further includes a latch assembly configured to establish a releasable engagement between the frame and the door when the door is in the closed position, the latch assembly comprising at least a latch member and at least a latch receiver having respective engagement portions. One between the latch member and the latch receiver is applied to the frame adjacently to a first side of the aperture, the first side of the aperture being the side of the aperture farthest from the rotation axis V, whilst the other between the latch member and the latch receiver is integral to an insert coupled to the door and is applied adjacently to a first side of the door, the first side of the door being the side of the door farthest from the rotation axis V.
Push-to-open/signal-to-open appliance door latching system with an integrated locking device
Provided is a push-to-open latch for an oven appliance and other household appliances. The push-to-open latch includes an integrated locking device for locking an appliance door in place and initiate a downstream appliance function such as a self-cleaning function. The integrated locking device includes a rotating cam having a latching slot which engages a pawl. The rotating cam also includes a guiding ramp and a catch surface which may be used to engage a latching finger to lock the cam in place. In addition, the locking device may include a locking slide and a locking slide pin that is actuated by a solenoid to engage the cam. Once the appliance door is locked, one or more switches send a signal to the appliance controller to activate the downstream function.
Household appliance having a part being releasably attached
A household appliance contains a part that is releasably attached onto to the household appliance through a snap-fit connection. The part is provided with two or more engagement sites including a first engagement site and a second engagement site distributed around an axis along a direction to be followed at a process for releasably securing of the part. Each of the first engagement site and the second engagement site has a different respective orthogonal projection on the axis.
Home appliance having leveling door handle
A home appliance in which an opening and closing operation of a door and a turning operation of a handle are connected through five joints, so that the turning operation of the handle can be performed smoothly, and a latch for fixing the door to a body moves to a position parallel to the door when the door is opened, so that a user is prevented from being interfered with the latch while opening the door and using a cavity of the home appliance.
DOOR LOCK SYSTEM FOR AN APPLIANCE
The present invention relates to a door lock system (10) for an appliance, in particular for a domestic appliance, preferably for a cooking oven. The door lock system (10) comprises a hook element (14) pivotable around a pivot axis between an unlocked released state and a locked released state and movable along a main axis perpendicular to said pivot axis between the locked released state and locked pulled state. The door lock system (10) comprises a first sliding member (18) movable along the main axis and provided for pivoting the hook element (14) to the locked released state.
