The cooking appliance includes: a main body having a cooking chamber defined therein; a door mounted rotatably to the main body; and a latch module provided in the main body and controlling the opening and closing of the door, wherein the latch module includes: a latch installed rotatably at an end thereof, an elastic body installed at a side of the latch and forcing the latch to be rotated in one direction by applying an elastic force to the latch; a driving part installed at a side of the elastic body and supplying power to the latch; a cam provided at a side of the driving part; and a lever bracket having an end thereof connected to the latch.

The hinge module includes a housing, a rotational axis member disposed in the housing serving as a center of rotation between the pull-down door and the main body, an inner link housing movably disposed in the housing that moves with the opening of the pull-down door in a direction of the rotational axis member, and a damper installed in the inner link housing, the damper including a piston and a cylinder and providing damping force according to a relative movement of the piston and the cylinder. Any one of the piston and the cylinder of the damper moves with the inner link housing and the other of the piston and the cylinder of the damper moves by a predetermined distance as the inner link housing moves and then is interfered by the housing so as not to move further, and the piston and the cylinder of the damper starts damping, wherein the predetermined distance corresponds to an opening angle of the pull-down door in which the damping is started.

A locking mechanism and a cooking machine are provided for home appliances. The locking mechanism is provided on a control panel of the cooking machine and used to control the door-opening button of the cooking machine. The door-opening button is provided with a door-opening member for opening the door of the cooking machine. The locking mechanism switches the door-opening button selectively in a locked state or an unlocked state; the door cannot be opened even if the door-opening button is pressed in the locked state, and the door can be opened if the door-opening button is pressed in the unlocked state. The locking mechanism provided by the present invention is small in size and good in versatility, and can lock the door fundamentally in the door-opening operation, thus realizing simpler and more effective protection and hence ensuring use safety of users especially the children.

An aircraft oven body is disclosed. In embodiments, the aircraft galley oven includes an oven body. The aircraft oven body also includes an oven door hingedly coupled to the oven body. In embodiments, the oven door includes a first continuous fiber reinforced thermoplastic (CFRTP) sheet defining at least a portion of an exterior surface of the oven door. A second CFRTP sheet may define at least a portion of an interior surface of the oven door. The oven door further includes one or more ribbed structures disposed on at least one of the first CFRTP sheet or the second CFRTP sheet. In embodiments, the oven door further includes an oven door latching mechanism disposed within one or more recesses within the one or more ribbed structures. The oven door also includes an insulating layer coupled to at least one of the one or more ribbed structures.

A door is provided for closing the open front. A hinge assembly connects the door to the rack assembly. The hinge assembly allows the door to slide between a first position and a second position with respect to the rack assembly. The hinge assembly includes a lock assembly for locking the rack assembly in the extended position. The lock assembly is moveable between a locked position and an unlocked position. The lock assembly is in the unlocked position when the door is in the first position thereby allowing the rack assembly to freely moved, and the lock assembly is in the locked position when the door is in the second position thereby securing the rack assembly in the extended position.

Provided is a push-to-open latch for an oven appliance and other household appliances. The push-to-open latch includes an integrated locking device for locking an appliance door in place and initiate a downstream appliance function such as a self-cleaning function. The integrated locking device includes a rotating cam having a latching slot which engages a pawl. The rotating cam also includes a guiding ramp and a catch surface which may be used to engage a latching finger to lock the cam in place. In addition, the locking device may include a locking slide and a locking slide pin that is actuated by a solenoid to engage the cam. Once the appliance door is locked, one or more switches send a signal to the appliance controller to activate the downstream function.
