Electronic devices with flexible displays
An electronic device may have a hinge that allows the device to be flexed about a bend axis. A display may span the bend axis. To facilitate bending about the bend axis without damage when the display is cold, a portion of the display that overlaps the bend axis may be selectively heated. The portion of the display that overlaps the bend axis may be self-heated by illuminating pixels in the portion of the display that overlap the bend axis or may be heated using a heating element or other heating structure that provides heat to the portion of the display overlapping the bend axis. Control circuitry may engage a latching mechanism that prevents opening and closing of the electronic device when the temperature of the portion of the display that overlaps the bend axis is below a predetermined temperature.
OVEN
Provided is an oven comprising an air guide configured to guide the flow of air discharged from a discharge passage. The oven comprises: a main body having an open cavity; a door for opening and closing the oven cavity; a handle disposed on the upper portion of the front surface of the door; an air blower fan disposed on the top of the oven cavity so as to blow air suctioned from the outside of the main body; the discharge passage configured to discharge the air suctioned by the air blower fan to the outside of the main body; and the air guide disposed on one end of the discharge passage so as to divide the flow of air discharged through the discharge passage into an upper portion and a lower portion.
COOKING APPLIANCE
Proposed is a cooking appliance having a function capable of manually opening a door even when a closed state of the door is maintained. The cooking appliance includes: a main body having a cooking chamber defined therein; a door mounted rotatably to the main body; and a latch module provided in the main body and controlling the opening and closing of the door, wherein the latch module includes: a latch installed rotatably at an end thereof, an elastic body installed at a side of the latch and forcing the latch to be rotated in one direction by applying an elastic force to the latch; a driving part installed at a side of the elastic body and supplying power to the latch; a cam provided at a side of the driving part; and a lever bracket having an end thereof connected to the latch.
ON DEMAND OVEN DOOR LOCK
A cooking apparatus includes a control circuit configured to operate an electronic lock on demand in response to user input provided to a user interface. The electronic lock may be operable regardless of whether the oven is active, and cooking operations may be started, stopped or modified even when the electronic lock is engaged.
Locking device for a door of a domestic appliance
The present invention relates to a locking device (10) for a door of a domestic appliance. The locking device (10) comprises a main body (12) and a locking hook element (14) supported pivoting in and/or at the main body (12). The locking hook element (14) is pivoting between an engaged position and a disengaged position. The locking hook element (14) is engageable with and disengageable from a corresponding counterpart (40). The locking device (10) comprises an electric actuator (22) arranged in and/or at the main body (12) and mechanically connected or connectable to the locking hook element (14). The electric actuator (22) effects the pivoting of the locking hook element (14) from the engaged position to the disengaged position. The locking device (10) comprises a first spring element (26) interconnected between the locking hook element (14) and the main body (10), wherein said first spring element (26) effects a movement of the locking hook element (14) from the disengaged position to the engaged position.
COOKING APPLIANCE AND METHOD FOR OPERATING SAME
A cooking appliance includes a door for closing a cooking chamber, a door-opening device configured to automatically move the door between a closed position and an open position of the door, and a sensing device operatively connected to the door-opening device. The sensing device is configured to sense a triggering element separate from the cooking appliance for controlling the door-opening device.
COLLAPSIBLE CAMP STOVE
A collapsible camp stove having a cover, a chassis having a fuel burner and a pot support; and the pot support and the chassis and the cover are all pivotally interconnected to one another in a parallelogram structure wherein pivotal opening of the cover relative to the chassis causes the pot support to raise upwardly away from a top surface of the chassis while the pot support continuously remains parallel to the top surface of the chassis.
Door lock for a domestic electrical appliance
A door lock for a domestic electrical appliance comprises a movably arranged locking member, which is selectively adjustable into an unlocking position and a locking position and in the unlocking position permits the opening of a closed door of the domestic appliance and in the locking position is in blocking engagement with a blockable component, at least when the door is closed. The blocking engagement causes the closed door to be blocked against opening. The door lock further comprises an electrically controllable actuator for actuating the locking member, and an electrical door detection switch that switches depending on the closing of the door. The doer lock also comprises an electrical auxiliary switch device, which selectively opens or closes an electrical shunt path to the door detection switch depending on the position of the locking member.
Door lock for a domestic electrical appliance
A door lock for a domestic electrical appliance includes a locking member which is electrically switchable between an unlocking position and a locking position, which locking member in the unlocking position allows a closed door of the domestic appliance to be opened and in the locking position is in blocking engagement with a blockable component at least when the door is closed, and an auxiliary member, separate from the blockable component, which is movable in dependence on the closing of the door from a release position into a blocking position. The blocking engagement effects blocking of the closed door against opening. In the release position, the auxiliary member allows the locking member to be transferred from the unlocking position into the locking position; in contrast, in its blocking position, the auxiliary member blocks the locking member against being transferred from the unlocking position into the locking position.
Door lock for a domestic electrical appliance
A door lock for a domestic electrical appliance such as, for example, a washing machine of the top loader type includes a lock module, a housing shell for the floating mounting of the lock module on a housing wall portion of a body of the domestic appliance, a locking member which is arranged to be movable between an unlocking position and a locking position, and an electrically controllable actuator for actuating the locking member. The lock module has an insertion opening for insertion of a closing element on closing of the door of the domestic appliance. The locking member in its unlocking position allows the closing element to move out of the insertion opening and in the locking position effects blocking of the closing element against moving out of the insertion opening. At least one centring slope for the closing element is formed at the insertion opening.
