A door includes a handle, a handle link configured to rotate about a handle shaft, a first swing hinge shaft configured to protrude outward from and retract into a first side of the door, a pull-down configured to protrude outward from and retract into a second side of the door, a first main link having a first end rotatably connected to the handle link and a second end rotatably connected to the first swing hinge shaft, and a second main link having a first end rotatably connected to the handle link and a second end rotatably connected to the pull-down bar. The pull-down bar and the first swing hinge shaft are each configured to protrude from or retract to a side of the door based on rotation of the handle.

An aircraft oven body is disclosed. In embodiments, the aircraft galley oven includes an oven body. The aircraft oven body also includes an oven door hingedly coupled to the oven body. In embodiments, the oven door includes a first continuous fiber reinforced thermoplastic (CFRTP) sheet defining at least a portion of an exterior surface of the oven door. A second CFRTP sheet may define at least a portion of an interior surface of the oven door. The oven door further includes one or more ribbed structures disposed on at least one of the first CFRTP sheet or the second CFRTP sheet. In embodiments, the oven door further includes an oven door latching mechanism disposed within one or more recesses within the one or more ribbed structures. The oven door also includes an insulating layer coupled to at least one of the one or more ribbed structures.

A consumer appliance and handle assembly are provided herein. The consumer appliance may include a cabinet, an appliance door, a first power line, an appliance handle, a second power line, a first electrical connector, and a second electrical connector. The appliance door may include a panel body defining a door cavity. The appliance handle may be mounted to the appliance door. The appliance handle may include a handle body and an endcap. The second power line may be positioned within the handle body. The first electrical connector may include a first conductive body mounted to the panel body in conductive communication with the first power line. The second electrical connector may include a second conductive body mounted to the endcap in conductive communication with the second power line. In order to avoid that the picture signal obtained from an oven camera that is mounted at the exterior side of an oven door is disturbed by reflections, it is suggested to provide a reflection shield (40) for an oven camera (18) that is mounted at the exterior side of an oven door (30; 14) for monitoring an oven cavity (12) of a cooking oven (10), the reflection shield (40) comprising: a shield element (40) for covering a portion of the oven door (30; 14), a viewing window (46) for the camera (18); and at least one clamp (42) for clamping the reflection shield (40) to a handle (36; 16) of the oven door (30; 14).

An apparatus for heating food comprises a high capacity oven configured for receiving and cooking nine vertically spaced meal trays. The increased capacity oven maintains an outer vertical dimension in compliance with standard aircraft oven sizes while increasing the inner oven vertical dimension sufficiently to receive and sufficiently cook the nine meal trays. The increased capacity oven maintains a sufficient vertical spacing between each meal tray to enable sufficient airflow between the meal trays for timely meal cooking. Efficient placement of oven components in each of the areas above and below the oven internal cavity increases the internal vertical dimension of the oven internal cavity and the available vertical cooking space.
