COOKING APPLIANCE COMPRISING A DOOR OPENING MECHANISM FOR AUTOMATICALLY MOVING A DOOR INTO AN INTERMEDIATE POSITION, AND METHOD FOR OPENING A DOOR OF A COOKING APPLIANCE
A cooking appliance includes a housing having a stowage compartment, a door for closing a cooking chamber, and a door opening mechanism constructed to automatically move the door at least in a section of an entire movement path between a closed position and an open position of the door, in which open position the door is retractable into the stowage compartment of the housing. The door opening mechanism includes an actuation unit which is configured to automatically tilt the door from the closed position into an intermediate position located such that any further movement of the door from the intermediate position into the open position is implemented automatically under the force of gravity of the door.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SELECTIVELY COVERING AN APPLIANCE
A system for selectively enclosing an appliance is provided. The system includes a first device and a second device. The first device detects whether a first door is in a fully open configuration. When the first door is in the fully open configuration, the first device sets the appliance into an operational mode. When the first door is not in the fully open configuration, the first device sets the appliance into a limited mode. The second device includes a locking device and detects whether the appliance is in a working mode. When the appliance is in the working mode, the second device engages the locking device to prevent a motion of the first door away from the fully open configuration. When the appliance is not in the working mode, the second device disengages the locking device to allow the motion of the first door.
HOME APPLIANCE
A home appliance is provided. The home appliance includes a main body having an accommodation space, a first door rotatably coupled to the main body to open and close the accommodation space and having an opening, a second door rotatably coupled to the first door to open and close the opening, and a locking device configured to fix or separate the first door to or from the main body or fix or separate the second door to or from the first door. The locking device includes a main ring unit, an operating lever configured to separate the second door from the first door by pressure, and a dual opening preventing member configured to maintain a fixed state of the second door with respect to the first door when the operating lever is pressed in a state in which the first door is open.
COOKING APPARATUS INCLUDING TWO-WAY OPENABLE DOOR
A door includes a handle, a handle link configured to rotate about a handle shaft, a first swing hinge shaft configured to protrude outward from and retract into a first side of the door, a pull-down configured to protrude outward from and retract into a second side of the door, a first main link having a first end rotatably connected to the handle link and a second end rotatably connected to the first swing hinge shaft, and a second main link having a first end rotatably connected to the handle link and a second end rotatably connected to the pull-down bar. The pull-down bar and the first swing hinge shaft are each configured to protrude from or retract to a side of the door based on rotation of the handle.
Countertop Oven
A countertop oven includes a housing having a rear panel, an upper panel, a bottom panel, a first side panel, an opposing second side panel and an open front end, together defining a cooking cavity therebetween. The cooking cavity is accessible via the open front end of the housing. At least one heating element within the housing selectively heats the cooking cavity. A door is movably attached to the housing via at least one 4-bar linkage mechanism. The door is selectively movable between a closed position, wherein the open front end of the housing is covered by the door, and an open position, wherein the door is positioned generally atop the upper panel of the housing, thereby uncovering the open front end of the housing to access the cooking cavity.
Hot air rack oven
A hot air rack oven (1) in an oven housing (2), for the baking of goods on a rack (4), including an oven chamber (6), a door opening (8), a door (10), the oven chamber includes one or more curved portions wall and has an essentially circular cross-section with respect to a substantially vertical axis of the oven. The door is curved with a slightly larger diameter than the outer diameter of the oven chamber, and is able to slide laterally to one side of the opening, at the outside of the oven, and the sliding door is movably arranged at the oven housing via cooperation, at an upper edge of the door, between an elongated curved horizontally arranged wheel arrangement (12) provided with a specified number N of equally sized wheels W.sub.i and an elongated curved horizontally arranged guide bar (14) provided with N equally sized recesses R.sub.i.
Household device having a door and electrical contacts in the region of a door guide
A household appliance includes a housing having a receiving space for food and a storage space disposed below the receiving space. A door for closing an opening of the receiving space of the housing is insertable into the storage place when the door is opened and includes at least one electrical consumer, a first electrical contact coupled to the electrical consumer, and a housing-side second electrical contact electrically coupled to the first electrical contact for supply of electrical energy to the consumer as a function of an operating position of the door. The door is guided into the storage space by a guide apparatus which has a housing-side horizontal guide slot arranged laterally in relation to the door in a side wall of the storage space. The second electrical contact is arranged adjacent to the guide slot in the side wall of the storage space.
Roll-Up Door Equipped Oven
A roll-up door equipped oven having a roll-up door in place of a hinged door includes a stove. A panel is coupled to and positioned in the stove to define an upper chamber. A pair of tracks is coupled singly to opposing sides of an opening in the stove. The tracks extend along the opposing sides and curvedly into the upper chamber. A plurality of panels is rollably coupled to and extends between the tracks. Each panel is hingedly coupled to an adjacent panel. An actuator is coupled to the stove and operationally coupled to the panels. A controller is positioned to compel the actuator to selectively compel the panels between a closed configuration, wherein the panels cover the opening, and an open configuration, wherein the panels are positioned within the upper chamber and the opening is configured to allow access to the upper chamber.
MAGNETIC POSITIONING HINGE FOR HORIZONTAL DOOR ASSEMBLY
An integrated magnetic catch used to hold a horizontal hinged oven door open at a selected set partially open position. A pin and knuckle assembly is used to hold the two plates together and acts as a pivot point. Attached to a stationary plate is a positioning member comprising a housing containing a magnetic material. This positioning member is formed having a preset angle that correlates with the degree that the door is to be opened. When the door is opened and pivoted the first plate of the rotating hinge makes contact with the second plate of the rotating hinge having a positioning member affixed thereto and the magnetic force holds the door open at a selected angle.
