A server device that incorporates teachings of the present disclosure may include, for example, a memory and a processor. The processor can identify first and second players present at first and second physical locations, to identify first and second boundary and topographical information of the first and second physical locations, to map the first and second boundary and topographical information of the first and second physical locations to a virtual gaming space, to capture first and second position and orientation information for the first and second players, to map the first and second position and orientation information to the virtual gaming space, to generate first and second virtual players corresponding to the first and second players, and to transmit to first goggles information representative of the second virtual player for display superimposed onto a transparent viewing apparatus for viewing of the virtual gaming space. Additional embodiments are disclosed.
Systems and Methods for Rendering a Virtual Content Object in an Augmented Reality Environment
Systems and methods for rendering of a virtual content object in an augmented reality environment based on a physical marker are discussed herein. Virtual content objects may be rendered by a display device in an augmented reality environment based on the field of view seen through the display device and a position of a marker (and one or more linkage points associated with the marker) in the real world. When rendered in the augmented reality environment, the virtual content objects may be visualized from any angle, from the exterior or interior of the object, and manipulated in response to user input. Virtual content objects and/or user visualizations of virtual content objects may be shared with other users (local and/or remote), enabling multiple users to potentially build, modify, and/or interact with a virtual content object simultaneously and/or cooperatively.
VIRTUAL ITEM MOVEMENT CONTROL METHOD, TERMINAL, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
This application discloses a virtual item movement control method performed at a computing device. The computing device displays a target virtual item to descend in a virtual scene. After determining an initial movement track of the target virtual item according to a first display position and a first speed of the target virtual item, the computing device updates, in real time, the initial movement track of the target virtual item according to at least one of a randomly-determined environmental condition of the virtual scene and a health value of the target virtual item to obtain a target movement track and then controls the target virtual item to move according to the target movement track until after the target virtual item arrives at a stationary position in the virtual scene.
SYSTEM AND METHOD OF MOTOR TASK SKILL ASSESSMENT
A system and method may measure or calculate motor acuity in a person playing a computer game by determining, for a number of different target types, speed of the player and one of precision, accuracy and variability of the player; and determining or calculating motor acuity based on the relationship between speed of the player and the precision, accuracy or variability (e.g. in movement or shots). The calculation may be using a statistical analysis; and may be by creating a best-fit line in a comparison of speed and variability; and transforming the best-fit line to a curve in a comparison of player speed and player precision.
Ballistic trajectory display in a virtual environment
Embodiments of this application relate to the computer field, and disclose a ballistic trajectory display method, apparatus, and device in a virtual environment, and a readable medium. The method includes receiving a first shooting signal of a first type of ammunition transmitted by a first terminal The method may further include transmitting an ammunition creating instruction to the first terminal and a second terminal simultaneously according to the first shooting signal. The method may further include transmitting a first display instruction to the first terminal and the second terminal simultaneously in a case of determining that the first type of ammunition hits a target.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DISPLAYING MARKER ELEMENT IN VIRTUAL SCENE, COMPUTER DEVICE, AND COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
This application relates to a method for displaying a marker element in a virtual scene performed at a terminal. The method includes: receiving a marking request from a user of the terminal, wherein the user controls a current virtual object rendered in a display interface of the virtual scene; in response to the marking request, determining a target virtual item in the display interface of the virtual scene; obtaining graphic data of a marker element when a distance between the target virtual item and the current virtual object in the virtual scene is within a predefined distance, the marker element being a graphic element used for indicating a location of the target virtual item in the virtual scene; and rendering the marker element according to the graphic data at a designated location adjacent the target virtual item in the display interface of the virtual scene.
Method and apparatus for controlling virtual reality shooting game
The present disclosure provides a control method and apparatus for a Virtual Reality (VR) shooting game. The control method includes: detecting a shooting operation instruction in the VR shooting game; when the shooting operation instruction is detected, controlling a shooting weapon to execute a shooting action; in response to the shooting weapon executing the shooting action, applying a first acting force to a virtual weapon holder, the first acting force being used for simulating a recoil force to the virtual weapon holder when the shooting weapon executes the shooting action; calculating and controlling a position change of the virtual weapon holder based on the first acting force; and after the first force disappears, applying a second acting force to the virtual weapon holder, and calculating and controlling the position change of the virtual weapon holder based on the second acting force.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR EXECUTING INTERACTION EVENT
The present disclosure is directed to a method and apparatus for executing an interaction event. The method may include displaying a picture of a preparatory stage prior to start of an interaction process in a virtual scene. A first group of avatars may be engaging in the interaction process, and the interaction process may include one or more interaction events. The method may further include determining a target avatar in the first group of avatars based on attribute information of the first group of avatars. The target interaction event may be an interaction event that allows to be jointly executed by the first group of avatars. The method may further include, in response to the target avatar triggering the target interaction event in the preparatory stage, displaying a picture of a second group of avatars executing the target interaction event.
DISPLAY METHOD AND DISPLAY DEVICE USING THE SAME
A display method and a display device using the same is disclosed. In the display method, an image is received. The image has an indicative object and a display background that surrounds the indicative object. Then, the original color of the indicative object is changed into a first color and the image that has the indicative object with the first color is displayed based on the average hue of a part of the display background. The part of the display background surrounds the indicative object. The average hue corresponds to a second color. The first color and the second color are complementary colors.
